been looking at acogs for about 2 years. have a wilson combat AR 223 and a 6.8.. been swaping a leupold 3x9x40 between the two rifles. so today purchased a TA31RCO-M4CP from bravo arms here in the springs,,knocked off 150 dollars off list price,,so tomorrow it's off to the range, first acog I have ever owned,, have been able to try a few out from different shooters at the range over the past year and was very impressed at a 100 yards. I realize 4x32 doesn't have the range of a high power scope but they are just dam cool.

Congrats, Brian at Bravo Arms is great, good shop. I need to find a reason to spend some money there soon. Enjoy the Acog, I have enjoyed mine.

your right those guys at Bravo arms are great guys, they treat you like they really appreciate your buisness. even all the times I just went in looking around and didn't buy anything. I would have bought from them even if the price was higher, just because of this. but they really were the best price I found on the front range.

I was awestruck by how clear the picture was when I first took my ACOG out to the range...

was going to put a nightforce scope on the 6.8 for the simple reason I enjoy 200-300 yard shooting at small targets, witch isn't the reason for a 4x32 acog. but what can I say. had to have a nice ACOG.

Long range shooting is great so it's good to have a gun/optics combo that will handle that, BUT... When the zombies come you'll need something that will easily handle them much closer.

waaaaaay out of my price range for optics.

I'm saving for an eotech xps with larue mount for about 600.

for 1600 I'd get a springfield. .. iron sights all the way!

but congrats on your new gun glassware!

[Wow2]

3-400 is a painful hit for me...

$1400 for an optic is unattainable unless I get back into contracting.

enjoy it and know you are a lucky SOB
