I live up in Evergreen and will *hopefully* be getting my NRA Instructor Cert within a few weeks. I shoot up in the Arapaho Nat'l Forest en route to Mt. Evans, but that area requires a 4WD vehicle to access and not a great place to conduct classes due to that and how busy it can get. Are there any good public land/Nat'l forest areas within about 20-30mi from Golden/Lakewood area where I would be able to set up and conduct combat firearms training? I know about Harris park but that place can get too crowded also. I would prefer not going to an outdoor range because of crowding, inability to have multiple shooters and some of their safety regulations prohibit me from using my teaching style. I have experience, unpaid, teaching my brother and some of our friends advanced combat techniques and once certified I'd love to train people in a relaxed, safe, but uncrowded environment. Thanks in advance!

i dont allways know what Im talking about, but...

i dont think you can legally charge people to do anything on State or Federal lands without some sort of permit. I worked for several guides over the years. And, you must pay in order to get payed.

Disregard, if you arent worried about it.

Well after watching the Magpul Dynamics videos again I'd like a setup similar to what they have in the dynamic tactical carbine, and I have enough friends in the local sheriff's department and ranger services to be able to find out those finer details. And since I'm probably also going to teach Mountain Survival Training I should find that stuff out huh? Although yeah, not terribly worried about it.
