Wrong section... can a Moderator please move.

I just want to know more about the rifle...

Im under the impression that they are Romanian/USA rifles.

Also, are they the same as the WASR 10's?

GP1975's are US assembled Romainian part sets on a US receiver tha take standard AK magazines.
WASR's are Romainian built rifles designed to take a single stack magazine. Century opens up the mag well to take standard magazines.
Both function the same, its a Kalishnakov pattern rifle afterall.
Probably the biggest difference is the WASR's have chrome lined barrels, the GP's don't. The WASR will not have the dimples in the receiver but that is more of an aesthetic issue.

Are the GP 1975's gopd weapons in general?

Thanks.

Are the GP 1975's good weapons in general?

The ones I have handled have been good to go. Like any Century product give due diligence when looking it over- check for overall fit and finish-canted sights- smooth manual cycling etc.

Thanks for the reply.

Overall the weapon is in great shape and the action is smooth. The sights are canted slightly.

Do you know any way of fixing this issue if there is one?

Yup-easily fixable but I would say shoot it first. As long as it is not excessively canted and on target it may not be necessary.
