I was trying out a kidex mag pouch made for my M&P 45 with M&P 40 mags. They seemed like they fit this morning. I was just in Qudoba's getting carry out and one of my mag fell out, skipped across the floor and went under the fountain drink setup. Couldn't find it at first but, after scrambling around on the floor for what seemed like forever I found it and suck in my pocket and left. Looking around it don't seem like anybody even noticed.

DO NOT trust your life with that mag until you have run a couple of mags worth through it. Frequently a loaded mag that has bounced will tweak the mag lips.
Just a FYI
I carry a spare mag and a flashlight in the same pouch. Both are visible when I pull up my shirt to reach for either. I've reached for my flashlight in plain view of people hundreds of times. Not one single time has anyone noticed or at least cared enough to say anything. I think the vast majority of the general public does not know what a magazine looks like.

did you not read the OP??????????
for example #8763
He used the wrong size mag though. Can't really blame that on Kydex.

That sucks, but glad you got it back without anyone noticing!
And Kydex doesnt suck, I carry my Glock and Glock .40 mags (in a .40 mag holder) everyday without issue. Maybe you like the leather ones that have been known to get caught in trigger guards and put holes in floors?
Maybe you didnt read the OP where he had the .40 mags in .45 pouches?

Has nothing to do with kydex.
I'm not sure how leather would be any better than a formable plastic at holding magazines, since leather breaks down and loses its shape much easier.
SuperiorDG, did the mag have any rounds in it?

15 rounds. I've since gone back to my Galco leather mag pouches. I think the problem was completely due to the size of the mags. I have not had a problem with the 45 mags. I usually use this setup for training and when at the range.
BH-Sounds like your experience with kydex is pretty limited. I've seen more shitty leather products than I have kydex. Plastic will keep it's shape much longer than any hide.

Oooooohhhhh, I think that is a failure to do right then. What is that? +5 seconds?

$10 says that if anyone did they assumed you dropped your cell phone.
I actually had a woman back into my gun at Walmart once (this is when I lived in Wichita Kansas ... back before they had CCW) and the woman said "sorry, hope I didn't damage your phone".
