You need super fast reloads if you are doing standing reloads........ [Peep]

I have probably watched that video at LEAST 150 times. There is a ton of information to be learned by simply watching every aspect of his reload process.

There's even more info from dry firing practice and shooting one of the limited mag cap divisions.

1) Purchase flared magwell
2) Install
3) Be Todd Jarret, I mean Travis what's his name.

That's pretty much all there is to it right?

No. Magwell has actually quite little to do with reloading speed. I mean, with repeatable speed - which is all that matters.

In my opinion, the best advice from that video clip is:
just remember, Travis didn't get that fast overnight.

Practice 3 times a day and you will see some improvement soon ;)

I think, everything under one second is good, this means shot-to-shot-time.
I like to practice reloading to 25 yd target - forces you to concentrate on where your gun is pointing after the reload, which has always been the hardest part for me.

I think I was being facetious. :)

So where do you guys carry your mags during competition? I've never thought to carry them on that side of my belt before, but maybe I'll try it out. It'd sure make it easier to put the mag holder on when I realize I forgot to put it on when I got dressed.

I have a two piece belt. So the inner belt (through my belt loops) is lined with loop material and the outer has the hook material. All of my equipment resides on the outer belt. CR speed, Double Alpha and even Uncle Mikes make 2 piece belts.

I use mag pouches on my left side, behind the hip bone. I shoot in production.
