Anybody played with one of these? They sure look like a lot of fun.
Anyplace in Colorado have them in stock?

The Gander Mountian up By Me has had them in the past, Might be a bit of a drive for You though. [wink] But, If You Have a GM down By You, you could check them out.

Specialty Sports is about 1mi from me and it seems like they have nearly EVERYTHING. Never seem to have anything like these though.
We have Garts (or whatever its called now) and Dick's, and Sportsmans Warehouse. No Gander Mountain though.

Uberti's are hard to find, stocked (i've looked everywhere in the springs). Best to order it. Do you like cowboy guns? I've got some.

Lots of .45LC's around, but no 38's.

I bought one off GunBroker and Specialty is doing the transaction for me.
Where would I find out if this can handle 38 Special +P?

Nice... we hope to get a lever action someday, preferably a combo .38/.357.
As you probably did, I checked http://www.uberti.com/firearms/Yellowboy.tpl ...and it only says .38 Spl, no +P, no .357. Maybe contact Uberti directly and ask? Most of the other levers I've seen in .38 also handle the magnum so +P wouldn't be a problem, but this one?...
Sorry, not much help am I?
Please let us know what you find out, post a pic when you get it, and enjoy!

Since the same action is offered in .45 Colt and .44/40, I'm inclined to think 38 Spl +P would be OK, but it is a higher-pressure round.

That's what I was wondering, but didn't see any mention of whether hardware/action is shared on the larger caliber models.
Good luck!

Michael,
This gun is not rated for high pressure loads.

WOW! Nice gun.
Let us know when you are bringing it to a shoot.
The line to try it will probably be longer than the one behind Karl's Uzi.
