I'll be out of here until next Wed., starting tomorrow at Oh dark breakfast (if I can get the kid out of bed that early). Planning a 7:00am - 8:00 am leave time.

Heading to Ouray for the long holiday weekend. [pirate] Daughter's and my annual vacation time. Stay with friends down there. Great time to be had.

Expensive ale and cheap cigars are bought. Just need to throw the crap in the car.

Don't burn the place down while I'm gone.

We took the Miata down there last week-end and stayed at the Beaumont Hotel, nice room and an excellent meal in the Tundra Room. Of course, the Bon Ton is always very good as well. Going to do any Jeepin? I'd think Imogene would be open and passable by now. Enjoy!

I hope you guys had a good party without me. Cause I laid one on Tuesday night like I hadn't in years. Oy vay. Spent all day the 4th on the couch. Couldn't hold a thing down. [dead]

Rich, it so happens the friend I say with is the guy who opens Yankee Boy Basin and Imogene Pass. It rained fairly hard Monday night so we cruised up Yankee Boy to inspect the road, but didn't go up the Imogene road. In all these years I still haven't gone up there. Got some decent pics and it was daughter's first time up there. May have to put up a few pics later.

Oh, we had a supreme pizza at the Coachlight Inn. Fantastic pizza!Mmmmmmm... [approve]
