Not far from 84th and I-25. So far I believe I have heard .22 and 9mm. Needless to say, the shotty came out of storage as is sitting right next to me. [Tooth]

Sirens have stopped, so has gun fire. Now the illegals behind me are firing fireworks already. It's not even June and they are looking to burn down a house. I'll give my buddy who is an Adams County Sheriff a call and see what was going on with the gun fire.

Buddy isn't on tonight, said he would let me know. My guess is a couple idiots just testing out their birdman night sites in their backyard. The people in this neighborhood aren't always the brightest.

Sounds familiar, but I'm right by Coronado hills elementary school. Not far from rotella park. Now there is a park I won't go in after dark unless loaded with 9mm and 12ga. hell no!

yeah the shooting your talking about happened about a block away . what me and the lady heard was about 14 shots , the about a 20-30 min later the police showed up .its been quite here in the hood since
I saw some fireworks near Colfax and Sheridan tonight as well. I live near enough to 84th and I-25 to be concerned about the gun shots.

14 shots? Wow, someone was really pissed off. News said the guy parked his SUV, walked up to a guy in the park, talked with him briefly, shot him, then drove off. No mention that he dumped the entire magazine at point blank range. Someone needs anger management classes.
You're foolin' yourself if you think it's a nice neighborhood. I helped a friend move some things into her apartment (88th & I-25) and saw a kid get shot, he was running down the street pleading for help from people drivin' by and nobody paid him no mind until I chased him down to get him to stop before he bled out. Later that night the detectives told me that the kid didn't make it.

I have no illusions that this is a shitty neighborhood. I lived in this area when I was born and by the time I was 11 it was total shit. Which is why we moved. It has not gotten better in the last 24 years either. My grandmother lives in this neighborhood and always has. I'm watching her house for her and I have been in super awareness mode the whole time. Living in orange is no fun.
I live closer to 120th and Colorado blvd. But I'm down here a lot to help my grandmother out. And staying down here for a few weeks has not been fun.

if i dont hear gunfire everyday, it makes me wonder whats going on. the cops shoot at the pawnee sportsman center for qualification.
its probably my neighbors who wonder whats up, if they dont hear me shooting. im allways shooting something. snakes again yesterday. i keep the pistol grip shotgun with me, when I do fencing.

F Greeley! Its like the worst of Somalia and TJ rolled into one. I will be back thursday. I like the 100lb soaking wet bangers that think threatening me will get them free stuff though [ROFL1] Worst problem I have had their was 4 years ago a honkey threatened me with a pipe, play stupid games! Well and the night at Scooters bar when the son's a bitches (silence) got out of line, that was the most fun I have had with clothes on!
I dont see how any one lives in the big city, I hear shooting in my hood I know someone is coyote hunting!

Kinda like where I am at. one every now and then but that is down at the apt's and 4-plexes 2 blocks away. I have a co-worker that lives in the "good" part of town. His truck has been broke into 3 times. [Coffee]
Wow, reading all this makes me feel very fortunate to be living in Evergreen. I can't remember the last time I heard a gunshot that I wasn't a part of. When I lived in Arvada (the not-so-nice part) I kept my Glock next to my bed day and night when I was home and under the driver's seat in my truck, just because some guy threatened me once and saw where I lived, let him try...
