I think I'm a little late to the party here (not that most of you would actually care haha) but I just discovered that you can watch Netflix 'watch instant' movies on these devices. I knew in the past you can find more titles on their website for watch instant than what you'd find on your xbox dashboard but you could still watch those films on your xbox if you added them to your queue on your CPU so I went to browse with my wife's iPad and instead of adding a movie I was after, the damn thing started playing it!! I checked my phone and yep...plays them too. The overall quality is great too - other than buffer speed I didn't notice a difference w/ or w/o wifi. [Beer]

Now I'm sure this isn't that big of a deal to most of you but I'm stoked that I can now catch up on a few shows during my hour long (mandatory-ugh) lunch break.

I am still on the Netflix trial and although my wife loves it I am not too impressed. There are a lot of titles but allot cannot be watched instantly. It is cool to be able to watch it on the go but I have sling already that basically the same thing

Yeah, that's about the only gripe I have with them - their watch instant selection. They were horrible when it first came around but I have yet to run across something I wanted to watch that they didn't have and it usually ends up in my mail box within a day or so. There are even times when I'll have a movie the same day it was realeased; hasn't happened for a while now.

If you have HBO you can get the "HBO GO" app and watch all the best premium tv shows when you want to as well. I also prefer to use my iPad as the tv remote using the xfinity app.

That's stupid! I'm going to cancel my subscription solely because the selection sucks. If they opened it up during the trial month I'm sure they will have a lot more people keeping their subscription.

It's not that they hold back Kwando, it's just that as you watch things, they get a better idea of what to suggest to you as far as categories go. Watch a few movies and you'll see what we meean.

No wifi needed, PQ won't suffer.

Yep I watch it more than the wife and everytime the wife goes and checks out Netflix, she complains cause everything is related to the stuff I like to watch[Tooth]

and your mileage may vary. I was getting netflix thru xbox live, and found the selection improved when my moth free trial was over and I bought the xbox live subscription.

I don't know how that would have been different had I gone thru something with free net access like wii or ps3.

I like netflix. maybe someday I'll have watched all the stuff they have I want to see, then I"ll cancel.

I love my Netflix; had it since they started pretty much, and love it even more now with their increased selection and being able to watch on my Droid finally. I'm a TV geek I guess though, as I have that, Hulu Plus, HBO GO, SlingBox, and free DIRECTV....

Our TV is streaming (using a couple Roku boxes) and rabbit ears only for the last few months. 95% Netflix, it has been great. Don't miss paying for satellite or cable...

As for the limited selection... the online browsing will not show everything. Searching for a title will show it even if it's not listed, and as you watch the suggestions get better. Or just find what you want using the web page. Even then it's somewhat limited, but the Netflix folks are ripping movies/tv shows 24x7, but it just takes time considering how much content there is available.
