Actually, I checked in to see which folks were going and was surprised that no one had discussed it. Hence my post.

Yeah, first RMMGS' Cheyenne Wells shoot got cancelled because there's a new natural gas well downrange. Those things don't play well with .50 BMG APIT. Then the first attempt at a replacement shoot out by Byers fell through. Then they got a property out by Last Chance lined up. It got cancelled because a neighbor found out about it and lawyered up. I heard he threatened to sue everyone including the shoot participants. He would have been bitch slapped for making an unsubstantiated damages claim, but a bunch of people who can't afford it would have been saddled with hefty legal bills defending themselves.

The RMMGS folks are now going to try to get a shoot set up for September. I'll believe that when I see it. I've yet to get any part of my advance payment back on the cancelled shoot.

Speaking of problems with shoots, I heard today that there may be a hitch with Dragon Man's shoot. Something to do with a mineral right owner wanting to drill. Anyone heard that one yet? Is it just a BS rumor?
