Went out to Colorado Clays today, was shooting very well
Was beating my shooting buddy pretty good and well on my way to a new personal world record. Got to 67 with Station 2 still to go (we did it a little out of order).

Man, easy, I've been getting 4's on this all day.
My buddy goes first, I'm up 2.
He gets a 5.

I go, I hit the first pair.
nice
1 to tie, 2 to win.
Didn't hit another f*cking bird. [balls]
Man was I pissed at myself.
couldn't hit anything.

Oh yeah, Colorado Clays is open tomorrow if anyone was thinking of going.

Tough Day eh ? Well I hope your not in a slump. I've made an improvement on my sporting clay gear. I found this baby buggy at a garage sale Friday and I converted it to a nice little cart. What do you think? We're going out in the morning to test it out . I may shoot like $hivicski but at least I'll look good doing it! LOL . I have $40.00 bucks invested in it so far, I'm going to add a couple of bottle holders and empty shell holder thingy. See Ya ! Oh no, in fact I shot really well, set a new personal world record for me. (69)
of course, I could have broken 70 had i hit any of them
and, i lost to my shooting buddy, and that's really what it's all about. Beating your friends so you can talk smack to them.
It was a long ride home. :oops:

I think you should turn the guns around.
I wouldn't want to push the cart staring at the barrels.

remember, some place to put shells (lots, I bring all kinds, 7.5's, 8's, 8.5's, you never know) and put a cool bag with drinks.

Great cart! My first thought was the same as the last post indicated though. Keep 'em unloaded for safety of course.

The gun cart worked quite well, we turned the guns upside down and I didn't have to change a thing with the cart. Also I improved my personal best by 6 clays on the first round. And I tied that score on the second round, even though I got 0 on three stations in the second round [balls] . I can't believe it. I could of shattered my 1st score and walk out of there with a high 50's or even break 60 all I needed to do is get a few on those stations and I would if had it. [dancing] . Oh well we still had a very good day and I can raise the bar a little higher for the next time. My buddy TTKHUNTER shot a 70 1st round and 71 on the 2nd. We already had our fireworks show this morning it was a blast ! Larry
