My new 2.5-8x36mm M2 came with the 7.62mm 168gr @ 2650fps dial.
I'm toying with the idea of ordering a custom dial. The factory .223 offerings are 62gr @ 3100fps and 77gr @ 2750fps. Those aren't going to happen from my 16" barrel.
My tendency is to pick a Black Hills "blue box" offering. I've got a 1:7" twist, so heavy bullets are fine. Is there something that makes the most "sense"? I handload, so I expect to be able to duplicate (or close-enough) whichever load.
55gr? 69gr? 75gr? 77gr?
I suspect I'll mostly be shooting 55gr, but I'd probably only really use the dials for long-range so I'd want a heavier / better BC bullet...
