I was at a yard sale and found a Lee load-all 12ga setup complete for $20! I picked it up and the guy brought out a box for me to carry it in. I didn't notice what all was in the box until I got home and started setting it up. In the box was the load-all, 500 primers, a pound green dot, a 25lbs sack of 8 shot and a box of wads! Ran by sportsmans, picked up 100 shells for $5 (with a credit I had, $7.99 otherwise). So I got started in reloading including my first 100 clay and Target loads for $25!

Nice! Someday I want to get into reloading when $ permits.
I have a metric butt load of shell casings that are in good shape. I'd sell some for $10 per 500. They are a mix of plastic and paper.

Congrats! It's fun and rewarding. I've been handloading since the early 1980s, but I've yet to play with shot shells. I just don't shoot a shotgun enough to worry about it.

Congratulations. Now if you can just get an ex-wife to pull the tirgger on your first few loads...

Congrats! That sounds like a helluva score. My entry into reloading was shotgun shells when I was a young'un, my dad bought a used setup. I'm sure I made 100 times more than he ever did. Used 'em for quail hunting and clays, never blew myself up!
I did learn that, instead of dumping in shot, I could use the press and pack a shell full of toilet paper and that would make very nice 12ga. blanks!
Kid next door (Robert) had a pet duck in a backyard pen. Kid across the street (Brad) had a double-barreled 20ga. shotgun. Brad and I cut open a couple of 20ga. shells, dumped the shot and stuffed 'em fulla buttwipe. I got Robert out in his yard talking about the duck, and Brad came running around the corner with the shotgun hollering "YEEHAW! DUCK SEASON!" BLAM BLAM!
The shredded toilet paper sure did look like white duck feathers in the air, but the duck was fine. Poor Robert, I don't think he was right for a couple weeks after that. Ah, good times......reloading is fun!

I stuck with the minimum load for the recipe I found,so I'm feeling okay with testing my first few. [Tooth]
