Just put her back together after painting the plastic parts. I like it! now to mount an optic and it'll be all squared away the way I want it. Also added the insulation tape to stop the trigger getting hot. Ill let you guys know how it works out when I shoot it next.

BA to the MF. I dig it.
Splashing a little OD green on it really made it look sharp. I like it. [Awesom]

Looks great with the od green. Now you just need to throw a kobra on it ;)

I really like that! Are you worried about the paint? I want a similar finish for my ak, but didn't really want to spend the cash on a new set of furniture

I used Krylon camouflage paint I got at wally world. I was very careful to prep it with degreaser and a scotch brite pad, thorough rinse, then wiped it with rubbing alcohol and another rinse. After I painted it I let it air dry for a couple hours in the sun then put it in the oven at 150-200 deg. for a couple more hours. it went on beautifully, it looks even up close like it was molded in OD. The paint smell was gone (generally meaning its cured) in a 12 hours. So far seems like it will be quite durable but Im not rough on my guns and its only been a short time, but for $4 I cant complain.
