Hockey is about the only sport I pay attention to.
Just wondering of those that like a game where they let you play with sticks and blades who you pulling for this year?

I'm gonna guess Vancouver in 6 games. The teams seem pretty well matched .

What say you?

Well I've got family in Vancouver, and Boston accents piss me off, so its a pretty easy pick for me [Tooth]

I hate the canucks. So I am pulling for Boston this year. 2-1 end of the second :)

The teams are pretty well matched, should be a fun series. If Boston can pull off this steal on home ice, they have a great chance of taking it.

As a Bostonian living in Colorado, I'm going crazy. Thomas is the only thing keeping the B's alive. Great goaltending on both sides of the ice.

How can you not be a Bruins fan, we let you have Ray Bourque...

11 seconds in to OT-Vancouver leads the series 2-0!
Thomas's jockstrap is still on the ice, he and Charra just got burned BAD!

[Beer]

Forget just the goaltending, both teams are exceptional.

Even after tonight I stand by my prediction I made at the start of the playoffs. Bruins in 6 games. They just have to fight through the leagues agenda as well as the Caknuckleheads! [Tooth]

I say Boston in 7...I wish I could've watched last nights game, from the highlights it looked amazing.

With home ice advantage Boston should be able to pull off a win.

I don't really like either team, and since the Wings and the Lighting are both out, I'm going to say Vancouver with a sweep. I also do not like boston, but I really don't Like Chara, He plays dirty and I hope he loses the game for them. Tim Thomas is a great Goalie and I do want him to win but then Chara wins as well. Looks like they need to trade Thomas to the Wings.[Beer]

red wings suck.

I guess I'll go for the canucks.

I was just starting to like you too. Then you come out with pro Detroit Dead Things banter? No good at all. Also Chara had one hit that was controversial, his team has been asking him to play tougher. He does no play dirty, he is freaking giant. All players are elbow high to him. So if he legally hits you, it may be bad. Vancouver has an entire team of dirty players, have for years. They are a rival and I would not root for them even if they were playing the horrid geriatric dead things.

I will get flamed for this I'm sure, but as a big time hockey fan, and a devoted hockey player, I have to say I like Vancouver for this year, but hate neither team. I love Boston because I'm a big old school RB fan (since before he came over and actually got us our 2nd Cup!), and I have lots of friends from and in Boston, but I just have to say that this year I've been more impressed with the Canucks and think they're a much more fun team to watch lately. Go Sedin bros! (I love to watch those two play, mostly because my brother and I both play hockey- and although we're not twins- we'd love to play in the NHL on the same time if we were good enough).

Really? I'm admittedly an avid Bruins fan, but I don't see it. . .

For sure I've never seen him bite anyone

Just turned on the game and Damn! 4-0 in the 3rd-Boston leads. I guess their "extra" player is making a big difference.

Part of me does want the original six team to win. This does look to be a good series though.

As far as chara goes I guess I'm just used to classy captians like Yzerman or Lidstrom. Not too crazy about captians that act like jerks (Crosby).

Not the way you want to lose game 3 when you're up 2-0. I bet Boston was happy it was at home, imagine how loud that place had to be? I want to go to a finals game. Avs need to make to back to the finals so I can go see it.

Apparently the Canucks got a little complacent with a 2 game series lead. I don't have strong feelings for either team so I am glad that Boston is not going to just quit. Now the question is : how will Vancouver respond to an 8-1 shellacking?

Boston went to town 2 games in a row. I hope Boston wins in 6.

The twins are invisible and what happened to Luongo?

the same thing that has happened to him every year in the playoffs. Luongo Chokes, too bad they got to the finals before he did it. I have been saying Boston in 6 since the series began. I have been calling Boston since the playoffs started. The first two games were won by the Canucks on flukes. A blown call by the refs on the first game, and a blown play by two Boston players for the second. They didn't show any signs of beating Boston the way that the Bruins are showing now. The were out played by the Bruins in all 4 games now. Lucky bounces don't last forever.
