Didn't get the name of this mine. It's above the Camp Bird Mine.

It's easier than you think, unless you're a college student. [poke]

Ouray is only about 1½ hrs south of Grand Junction. And G.J. is about 4 hrs west of Denver on I-70. It would make for a quick weekend but you could drive there on Friday, jeep on Sat. and drive home on Sunday. 4 wheel drive is recommended but it's not all that rough a road in most places. Hell, we passed a Toyota Camery up there near the top. [confused]

There are several places that rent Jeeps in town and two or three places that give tours in "touring sedan" Jeep pickups.

Plus, Ouray has a very nice hot springs pool.

A great place for a get-away weekend.

A 5 or 6 yr old HP PhotoSmart 215. A whopping 1.3 megapixel monster when set at it's highest resolution, which these are. But I did resize them to fit the page better. It's so advanced you can't even use the LCD during daylight hours. You just have to shoot and hope for the best. [roll]
