IDPA matches a possibility at CRCI....

I just got my newsletter from the CO Rifle Club (Byers). They are in the early stages of building a Cowboy Action range and are talking about using it for IDPA (defensive pistol) matches/practice as well (my idea). I sent the pres. a basic range requirements and design email in the spring as well as some COFs. The good thing is they included this in their use plans for the range in their letter!!!!! Now, when it will be built is anyone's guess. They have all kinds of permits and hoops to jump through, but they are well liked by the county and powers that be.

I hope they would have a match the first Saturday of the month. Starting at 10 am so I have time to get there. hehehhehe

I finally made it back into town.....

I don't think anything ever starts that late. For being in the middle of the plains, they sure like to get there early. LOL
I worked a competition a few weeks back and had to be there at 6:45.

I suppose though, if it were our shoot, we could start it when we wanted. The only issue would be the heat.
