Hey all,

Looking for mags for my CZ-85 combat. Should I go factory or is there a decent after market brand. Secondly, anybody know where I can find any everywhere seems to be out.

Probably best to stay factory-not sure if there is an aftermarket available for them.
Give Bear Arms a yell, IIRC I believe they may have had some CZ mags on the pegboard but not sure what model.

I have a bunch of MecGar's for my CZ's. My understanding is that they make the mags for CZ anyway. They are 1/2 the price of factory mags.
Never had a problem with them at all--they're identical to the CZ mags --just don't have CZ written on them.

I got most of mine from some of the mag dealers at the Tanner gunshow--that was 3-4 years ago though.
Midway has factory mags but they're about $40 a pop

Yes, get Mec Gear mags. That's what I use in my 75.

Do the 75 mags fit the 85? I have an 85 as well. I tried one after market hi cap mag, and it fit too tight. I am going to look for some at Tanner next month.

I thought that the 85s were just ambi, and besides the combat trigger stuff, where the exact same gun. Stuart (eerw) should know.
