View Full Version : Wally world
so i go to wally world today to pick up a few things and i always make a pass in the sporting goods section. This bright red sticker that said $5.00 caught my eye. They had 9mm CCI blazer FMJ marked down to $5 a box of 50 big. Told the guy behind the counter I will take all that you have, he looked at me dumb and said um ok, so I bought all they had which was 400 rounds I'm goin to check the other wal marts tomorrow in town to see if they have the same deal.
I wish i could find .40S&W ammo that cheap [postal]
Just giving yall the heads up if you go to wal mart any time soon.

There doesn't appear any up North here. Off course, I'd be happy if they just kept more Winchester White Box in the 100 packs in stock.
nevermind me, I was half asleep when I posted this.
I think there is one in Loveland, and I know there is one in Longmont.
They have too many in Denver.

I bought the last six hundred round boxes of Winchester white box 45 at the wally world in dodge. I asked the kid how much they had he said six boxes so is ay I will take them. he about had a appoplexy fit and called the manager who acted like my name was osamma or somthing. He wanted to know why i would want so much 45 ACP ammo. I told him I shoot a Glock and do not handload for it and i have to drive fifty miles each way to buy more. So I pay for it$120.00 +tax cash, and they escort me out of the store. Right then, I had to explain to my wife that they would not let me go find her i had to go right then. And the armed securaty guy acted like I was going to come back in and rob the place or somthing
I do not and will not buy any more firearms related stuff from wally world. I get treated like that again, and I may not be shopping there at all.

Kansas has wierd firearms laws for an otherwise conservative state. I think this carries over into the way owners and dealers are viewed as suspect. You live there so you would know better than I.
Until recently, Kansas had no CCP for ordinary law abiding citizens and the governor has twice vetoed such legislation. IIRC she's a Demoncrap, but in the past a Republican governor has also blocked legislation for carry permits. Congrats that you finally got them though. Nebraska and Kansas have long been hold-outs in that regard.
Kansas is a non-NFA state unless you are a C2 or C3 SOT. I know one that works out of the Wichita area. This anti-NFA thing goes back to the days of Dillinger, MG Kelly, Bonnie and Clyde and all that hysteria. Until recently, suppressors were so illegal in KS that even the cops couldn't have them. It took an AG opinion to say the law didn't mean what it said w.r.t. police.
