I just don't get how the Brady bunch and the VPC think concealed carry "seriously threatens public safety".

What a bunch of twats.

The policy states that possession of firearms and other dangerous weapons "threatens the tranquility of the educational environment" and "seriously undermines" the university's academic mission.

Oh I'm sorry does my right to defend myself get canceled out because your environment isn't tranquil enough when you use your mindforce to detect the weapon under my clothes? and what exactly is your academic mission if a state law and the constitution itself undermine it?

I really hope they overturn this, I understand it's like a business and you can choose to go elsewhere with your money but you shouldn't have to make that choice when the school is given big chunks of change by taxpayers.

The policy states that possession of firearms and other dangerous weapons "threatens the tranquility of the educational environment" and "seriously undermines" the university's academic mission. If you realize what the university's "academic mission" actually is then it makes perfect sense.

Universities are leftist indoctrination camps ... armed citizens are self sufficient citizens and thus don't make good subjects of the state.

Campus CCW bans are about discouraging conservatives from attending.
