Sighted in my latest build today and thought I would play with the video recorder on my phone while I was at it.

Nice.... Making me jealous because I have to work tomorrow and have to wait until the weekend to go shoot. That phone takes some impressive video.

Here are the five shots fired in the video. Not too shabby for an old dude with poor eyesight. 100 yards, Federal 55 gr. FMJ.

I hate shooting on the weekends. Always either too crowded or there is some sort of match being held on the range I want to use. Normally I like to go on Fridays. [Beer]

I thought you meant those five shots at 100 yards was from the XD. I was totally impressed.

I would have been rather impressed too. [ROFL1]

Unfortunately, pistols and I don't get along very well anymore. This is about the best I can do at seven yards.

Looked like a fun day.

Yeah that camera phone does pretty good. What kind of phone is that?

Not to muddy up your thread but this is all I could come up with last weekend.

http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s16/spleify/Misc/IMG_0135.jpg

It was at 500 yards with a 22mph left to right wind with gusts hitting 30mph. 14.5" AR, 55gr mil spec bullet, 24 grains of H335 hand loads. 7 of 10 shots hit cardboard and 5 of them hit the target. Acog 4x32 TA31 optic

The wind was insane last weekend if I remember correctly. Pretty impressive for 500 yards in those conditions.

My phone is a Blackberry. I forget which model but it is the only flip phone they make. It is through sprint.

Yeah the wind sucked.

You have the good Blackberry then. I have an older 8310 and the iPhone 3 and neither one of them take near as good a video as yours.

Thanks for sharing

If it wasn't for my damn job that keeps my bills in check I'd love to take Fridays off and go shooting. I agree, I go up to Squaw Pass all the time (10mi up toward Mt. Evans from Evergreen Parkway) and there are a lot of people that go up there, and some of those crazy rednecks make me nervous with their shooting... I just wish it was how it was years ago when no one knew about the spot. Small price for going to a place close and not having to pay.

I go up there all the time, even weekends and the spot I shoot at I haven't seen a bunch up there. Most people leave their trash and casings but I usually pack out 3-4 trash bags and pick up several hundred pieces of brass!!

Where do you go? I usually hit the big clearing (where the shot up car was), and I too go out with 2-3x more stuff than I came in with. Not sure if it's making a dent though. That's where I'm going Sunday to put the first rounds through my P415 and sight in my EOTech.

Yep same spot! I was there two three weeks ago and it looked decent and I picked up 20lbs of brass!!!

No problem. Not really derailing it anyways since we all seem to be talking about going shooting somewhere. [Beer]
