Hello all.

I am trying to find a suppressor dealer in CO who wont rake me over the coals.

Have previously bought a suppressor from Title2 back east and then transferred through a local dealer who charged 90 for the priviledge of doing the paper.

Am looking at purchasing either an Outback 2 or Pilot for a Walther P22 and am trying to find a reasonable deal.

Perusing silencer tests you see reports of real reasonably priced Outback 2s.
Initial search in CO shows dealers here want about $100 more than in other states.

Anyone have any recommendations for a dealer that doesn't want to make a mint on every sale ? I am in Colorado Springs area, would travel to Denver or other Front Range areas to complete the transaction.

Thanks

I use Alan Samuel he has his own forum on this board. He does not charge any transfer fees if you buy the item from him.

Yes, Alan http://www.alansamuel.com/ is good, He is up in Dumont CO. He owns alot of NFA items. I have never dealt with him, but I have shoot his machine guns (.50 cal, Full auto Glock, Styer Aug, and MP5) and he is a really nice guy to talk with. He also runs the colorado 3 gun matches and stuff. He is also very active on these forum, which is very good.

Dragon Mans www.dragonmans.com is just east of colorado springs. I have got 2 silencers from terry at dragon mans (mel's wife, she runs the silencer part of the business.) Sometimes she can be forgetfull casue she runs many other businesses (paint ball, Gun rage, ships Mel's harley davidson parts, and dirt bike track)

Richard Stone richard.stone@acm.org Lives by UCCS and does machineing, and can get you a silencer as well. He operates right out of his house, and has a full time job, but he has been fast with my responses. He is currently tring to get a Die to thread my Savge 10FP. He gets them for the same price that Dragon man gets them. When I was dropping off my gun I saw many guns, but I know I saw a small handgun with silencer on the table that was in .22LR.

Seriously I think all are going to have the simular price. But I would contact them, and who ever seems to give you the best advice, I would go with.

Maybe some one else can list other dealers.

Greg Satre of Denver Bullet is a FFL/SOT. He has always treated me fairly. DB is in downtown Denver so a bit of a drive from the Springs.

I know Jensen Arms is a Class III dealer and sells silencers. If you are looking to pay less than retail though...

they charge a transfer fee for every can they sell. why pay an extra
$75-150 average over your other cost (can and tax stamp) ??
good place to do business with i just have an issue paying more then necessary for NFA items
