Finally tracked down a couple of my grandparents' guns... one of which is a Beretta 950 .25ACP. Can't find anything online about how to strip it and I don't feel comfortable firing much less carrying something if I haven't cleaned it and don't know how to strip it. Any of you gunsmiths have any experience with these?

I was pretty sure I remembered but needed a refresher. Push out what I think is the takedown bolt latch pin thing that's by the upper rear of the trigger, pull back on the slide then lift so it goes up and over the frame. It's the same as a Sig 232 if that helps. You might at least be able to find a clearer video. I think what stumps people is that you have to twist and remove a piece to take it down and I certainly don't jump into something like that without knowing what's up.

Strange, that's actually a different gun. Thanks though [Beer]
Anyways, got it figured out... was in the manual [facepalm]. Never had a gun with a manual before, never occurred to me to check it [Tooth]

Cute little gun!

Bah directions they are for those who do not like the adventure of trying to remember how the hell something goes back together after a whirl wind of parts removal and cursing along with a hammer 2 sizes larger than required.
