Special Units- Ranger, SF, Airborne- get to keep the beret and looks like Rangers are going back to black... great idea using the Patrol Cap instead of going to the old garrison cap. We used to say: "If your hands are full you have to set all that crap down, put on and tug your beret into shape... why? PC takes one hand to throw on and you're good."

The article mentioned both the beret was still going to be used for the Class A uniform and then also stated the Rangers having a black beret. I think the author was incorrect in the Ranger color.

I haven't seen the ALARACT come down on this yet. I am looking forward to it though!
