View Full Version : Now there is only "1" (IL)
While there is still a substantial level of work to implement common-sense carry in various states (incorpration?) this is a significant move for 2A advocates, "WI goes CCW!"
Now, there remains only one rights-infringed loner, the state of IL errrr...the state of Chicago.
WI Senate passes concealed carry (http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/news/123867589.html)

Dont forget about CA...
While CA is not shall issue ( nore are a "bunch" of others) CA does have a CCW law.... it's just a whore to get one. At least that is my understanding....
I'll be happier when every state is "shall issue" and even happier when they all have vermont style laws!!!

Good thing the majority of those morons (and I emphasize the word majority) aren't the ones to translate the Constitution...
Glad to see this progress still going the way we want it, however slow it is, especially after idiots mess things up for us, such as the shooting in Arizona.
glad they came to the light. Now if only we could have a universal understanding that no law will restrict any carrying of weapons on any public or privately owned soil within the United States. then we would be set and I would be happy!

Sorry, But I Do respect the right of Private land owners to be stupid.
So long as the private land is not intended for public commercial access.

I think you need to reword that. The constitution does not restrict the citizen's rights but rather what type of laws the government can pass.
There is no right to carry a firearm on private property. End of story!
sounds like I typed something that didn't quite jive. once my 2 40's wear off tomorrow I think i will need to re-read what I wrote.
I know I meant that basically I want no law to control where I can carry a gun on publicly owned (mine as a tax-paying citizen) land or any property I own.

I can see what you meant now.... At first read it looked like you meant on other people's property.
Good!!!! Now I don't have to unleash a constitutional smack down on you!![Beer]
