Another appleseed is coming close to Colorado being held in Salt Lake City on the weekend of Nov 4th and 5th.

This is a great program and my wife is helping to put this shoot on. You will shoot better.

See RWRA website here: http://www.rwva.org/yabbse/index.php?board=45.0

Scrolling around that forum will give you lots of information and reviews.

see another review: http://www.survivalblog.com/2006/07/letter_re_comments_on_the_rwva.html

this is a especially great opportunity for west slope residents as it's much closer.

Ask me any questions

I tried to make one of the two in WY last May but didn't have my M1A then. Well, that has now changed. But I'm not sure if Salt Lake is within my range. Unless....some folks are wanting to carpool????

Thanks for the heads-up! The RWVA folks seem like a bunch of great people. I really hope to make this one.

It's 7 hours and 20 minutes from Boulder to Southern Utah county (south of Salt Lake City, north of Provo, it should be less than 7 hours to this shoot). I did that drive like 20 times last year every other weekend. Drive out friday, shoot, have fun all weekend, drive back monday.

It's well worth it.
Plus, we need more people willing to help out/instruct/etc for Colorado next spring (hopefully)

You don't need an M1A BTW. Anything from 22LR on up is fine. magazine loaded rifles are greatly helpful, but not mandatory.
