Working hard all day. Coming home tired. Family over for supper. Grilling out in the back yard. A couple of(a few) beers over supper. Smoking a cigar in the front yard. Talking without having to agree.
WE HAVE IT GOOD![Beer]
Our country Rocks. Lets keep it that way.
Checking the ammo in the mags, and going to bed.
Yep. Our government is ruining this country as fast as they can, and a lot of things are going downhill, but it's still a pretty awesome place to live! We've still got it a LOT better than most of the rest of the planet.
I love that feeling too. We have it good because we fight to keep it.

I love this country, and to those who want to emulate Europe or bash our country because it's not "Perfect" I say "GEEET OUT!"

You have to temper that against the realization that constructive criticism is helpful, and that by many metrics quality of life in Europe is better. I think a flat assumption that the USA has stumbled upon some magic recipe for happiness is a falsehood.
It's perfectly correct to be a patriot and still strive to seek a "more perfect" country in which to live.

I was speaking about the dirty little hippies that want to be like Europe in almost every way shape and form- mostly saying "It's more peaceful there because of stricter gun laws." SMD Hippy!

No sense of freedom in Europe.

Most folk in prison eat better, have better access to health care, less access to drugs and less opportunity to engage in self destructive behavior.
I'm sure if you look at some metrics you'll find their standard of living better than mine.

They can have their better metrics. I hate the metric system! [Coffee]
The USA is still, by far, the best place in the world to live.

Best thing I've ever heard and this is what makes America great (careful it's a very large and very sharp double edged sword)

It is not the government. Our form of government is the best in the world. It is the corrupt, self serving assholes that are in office. WE HAVE LET THESE COCKSUCKERS STAY IN OFFICE>AND THEY FLAUNT IT IN OUR FACES ON A DAILY BASIS....I SAY IT IS TREASON...
