Hey guys, new here and working on my first build. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these CMMG Complete Uppers. This (http://cmmginc.secure-mall.com/item/CMMG-22-Stainless-Bull-Barrel-Upper-w-Smooth-Free-Float-Tube-1693) is the one that I am looking at using for my build but will be changing out the BCG with the Fail Zero.
If anyone knows where I can get a 6.8 SPC in the same price range and minimum of 20" (may consider an 18"...not real happily tho) please give me a URL or info. I am liking the 6.8 but ammo is a bit hard to come by here in GJ from what I have seen. I load all my own but would have to get brass and dies to do the loads for it.
Thanks guys! I will be checking in and posting more questions thru this process often I am sure...hope you all dont get sick of me! LOL [LOL]
I dont know much about the CMMG uppers, but please check out these threads.

I get most of my 6.8 spc from Midwayusa, Good prices on dies and brass. And they ship same day in most cases. I whent with RCBS dies they work great. [Tooth]
Also the upper I'm running is from STAG Arms. Hunter 7. Very accurate.

I have heard some ppl have a lot of problems with the Stag...don't recall the models, but were having issues with feeding due to no M4 feed ramp??

I have a CMMG. I havent' had any firing issues with them. Some people may not like them cause they don't say bushmaster or saber on them. I received mine 2nd hand. My barrel was a bit loose i called them and the warranty applied to me. Lifetime means lifetime with them.
As long as you don't fire steel cased stuff, but how will they know?

What cal is your CMMG, bbl length, BB? I have heard good things about CMMG...nearly as much as I hear about the "big names" that are out there.

It's a 5.56 1/9 16.5". It has the M4 ramps, and the "heavy" contoured barrel, like the real M4s not the tapered DPMS or Colt. Has the wasp coating. I'm not going to make the presidents 100 with it (yet) but it's affordable good condition and the warranty is awesome.
