Have been having a milsurp itch lately, particularly for a 7mm/8mm mauser that isn't a turk. What's the best place in the front range to get one at a good price / good bore? Was hoping for a sub-$200 price tag but am not totally firm on that.
Does anyone know?
Take a look at Big 5. They have a decent selection most of the time.

5280 armory had two yugo 24/47 mausers for sale this past weekend for 200 bucks on the dot. They both looked to be in good condition.
hope this helps,
Kenny

This. I picked up my 1937 German Mauser from Big 5. Great condition/bore. Shoots pretty damn good, too. I have the sore shoulder today to prove it. LOL

Scotties down on Colefax has a good selection. His prices can run a little higher but he usually has stuff you can't find elsewhere.
The consignment section at Green Mountain Funs always has a few milsurp rifles in it, and they turn over pretty frequently.
