Play stupid games...

Did they fire a few too many rounds? Maybe. I don't really care how many rounds they fire at a guy that fired at them. But I'm sure there will be lots of discussion about that.

One officer let his concealment roll away...oops!

You gotta keep shooting until the threat is ended, so I don't think they shot too many rounds.

Hell there's been many police involved shootings with a lot more rounds fired and less BGs hit.

cops needed a bigger gun,

that almost looked staged. who gets out of his car to shoot like that? most bad guys that wanted to shoot cops would have fled first I would think.

that almost looked staged.

Thought crossed my mind too but I'm looking for more info to confirm it's authenticity.

Wow, that's kinda scary... luckily the police only came out with a foot injury that'll have him out of the game for about 12 weeks. That guy was bats*** nuts! How calmly he got out and just opened fire. I would hope that this brazen, foolishness is a clear reminder just how dangerous it can be for those out there with one of the more difficult and dangerous jobs.

when reading the article, I thought it may be SBC (suicide by cop)...
just doing random shootings to draw attention, then that may explain how he acted when pulled over...

but that's just speculation on my part.

And the article stated that someone at the bar tipped him off that the cops were out looking for him... wouldn't that be aiding and abetting? Why is that guy not in those shiny silver bracelets?

My first thought was that was some good shooting. Hard to hit him with his head probably down, through smoke, heat of the moment etc. def not to many shots fired

Me too. At least the accuracy was better than other "shoot out" videos I've seen. Seems like a vast majority of the rounds hit very close to the drivers seat considering the rate of fire they were laying down.

or maybe it was a:
"Hey Dude, Cops are looking for you, Maybe you should go see what they want, turn yourself in."

but yeah, as for the cops... Blatant and clear justifiable.
I am glad no one was killed but the badguy.

Wow, that would be scary to be one of the LEOs in that situation. Thank God that guy was stopped before more people got hurt.

+1 for dash cameras. Not the first time the camera was the best witness at the scene.
