View Full Version : Colorado Springs Gun Show July 9th and 10th.

On July 9th and 10th, the Prospectors Sertoma GUN SHOW will take place at the Event Center at Rustic Hills, located at 3960 Palmer Park Blvd in Springs.
Last time I had a table there, I met quite a few CO AR15 folks and I sure enjoyed meeting all of them AND getting rid of a lot of my stuff. I will have just one wall table at this upcoming show but this table will be LOADED. Hope to see a bunch of fellow CO AR15 members there.
Anyone planning on going to this one, either that Saturday or Sunday ? [Beer]

I will be able to stop by. Just not sure which day yet but will most likely be the 9th. I have two tickets (courtesy of USAA) to the 2011 U.S. Women's Open and it's the same weekend.

Well, I’m gonna be working the US Open and will not be able to make it either day. Too bad since I need to stock up on some ammo.

As Dan said, I'll be there, but who knows where... They seem to have me on a double booked table every time, then they scramble to put me somewhere else... I could save the hassle by setting up on Friday, but I have a quick set-up, and it is a long drive. I hate to waste the time and gas.[Bang] I paid for a wall table, so we'll see if I get one this month. Look forward to seeing everyone there.

Just curious what the show hours are? Those are the last two days and will be championship match days. If the ladies hurry it along I may be able to run by real quick and at least pick up a couple cases off ammo.

According to their website (above), the hours are:
Show Times are 9-5 on Saturday and 9-4 on Sunday.

I'll be there, looking for an SR1911 and some miscellaneous reloading/casting items.

nope no wall table , kinda leaning toward 2 tables to make up the difference .usually have a mountain of stuff behind me (boxes , rifles , bazooka , helmets ,ect)

Yeah, I also have WAY TOO many things, like enough for a couple or maybe a few tables but will have to make one table do the job. I'll have to find out exactly when we can expect to get in the hall to start setting up. Normally, I believe it's Noon or 1PM but the last time I set up there it was more like about 11AM.??

Looks like tomorrow (Friday) will be about a Noon entry for the table holders at the CO Springs Sertoma show. That'll work OK.

Saw Alex and his lady today while they were busy setting up their TWO tables. They should be two very busy folks with all the items they have on their tables. They have a LOT of very desirable Miitary collectables. I can say truthfully that they are both great people to deal with.[Beer]
Come on down to the show either Saturday and/or Sunday and after you see their stuff, stop by my table if you have time- I will have the little "Blaster Bob" sign on my space. Thanks!!

had a good time today saw a good handful of forum members , met a whole mess of new people and finely joined the nra . really thanks to all the coar15 members who show up and stopped by to say hello , honestly made the day better and broke up the war story fish tails and incorrect history lessons people are always trying to tell me .

Bob me and broken scout stopped by yesterday but couldn't find you. We wanted to say high.

Well hell!! I must have gone to take a quick leak or maybe some other "important" mission of some type.
You and I have done some business but have never even met broken scout. Hopefully next time I'll be by the table and to make sure maybe I should have a porta potty (coffee can) under the table so I will stick around and be available when fellow CO AR15 guys show up. [Bang]

10x, I sure hope you are feeling MUCH better by now. Just be real careful and don't over do it.
You did not miss very much at the gun show and it certainly would have been quite safe for you as there were absolutely NO "heart stopping" bargains to be found there (except at my table of course).[LOL]

Take good care of yourself and hopefully will see you at the next show!!
