There was a short thread on arf about Bushmaster's new .45. The consensus was:

Ill' wait and see

Gee, just what we need. Another big bore, limited capacity (mag) round

Sure wish someone would make an AR in .45ACP and make it to take Thompson or M3 mags

I'm in the latter catagory. I sure would like to have a .45ACP carbine. [poke]

You asked for it...I know that they exist....Grease Gun and Thompson Mag .45ACP Ar-15's or should I say AR45.

The Thompson system uses a rail on the reciever, the consensus over there is go with the grease gun mags.....personally I'm happy with my sten gun mag set up.
