I like the way the bottle bounces and jumps with the larger calibers. Especially the .50

That's amazing how the .338 and the .50 bmg just tore that water jug up, and the .308 leaving what looks like a fist size hole on the exit end. [Lick]

Sweet Jebus that car door did nothing to stop that. I was in a shooting reconstruction class in college two texas rangers taught it and shot a few vehicles with everything from 9mm to 7.62x51. 9,40,45,.357 Sig and mag all did fairly decent damage. 5.56 was able to penetrate the vehicle body and still significant tumble damage to the gel bodies inside. 12 gauge slugs ripped off two doors, but 7.62x51 took the cake. The guy shot through the front of the car, went through the engine block and vehicle to penetrate a body gel behind the car. Which is why my M1A is my SHTF rifle.

Agreed... that was awesome. Did anyone notice that was to assess the damage those rounds do with consideration to a human being. Let's just hope none of us ever have to endure a feeble attempt at surviving a .338 or .50 round, because judging from what it did to a 50gal water drum you probably won't get much of a survival rate from a person. Thems what we call "people killin' bullets."

Have you seen the youtube videos where they're taking out insurgents with a .50? Pretty much the biggest piece you see flying through the air is an arm...

the levels of hydraulic shock shatter the flesh on impact...
it doesn't even tear or punch a hole.
That's pretty funny to watch that entire container jump on the large calibers. .50cal = nice pink mist.
