Posted for your information.

COL MIKE MCCALISTER's speech to the Republican Leadership Conference 18Jun11. Col McCalister is running for the U.S. Senate in Florida.

His speech didn't hold anything back - he said what he feels and believes.

This guy is now being hailed as a hero of the Tea Party.

We need to support good candidates in whatever state they are in, not just our own. Does he have a campaign contribution?

Forget FL COL, run for president! He said everything I want in my nation's leader!
Speaking of supporting and defending the constitution, if I kill someone (read: Congressman) for trying to enact a law that undermines and threatens the constitution, I can't use the fact that I took an oath to support and defend the constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic, can I?

No, but they'll use that statement to show premeditation.

Ah, true, I yield to your superior forethought. But damn, just watch both parts of Col McCalister's speech and what a great speaker, and every idea he stands for is right on! Fire Napolitano (or however you spell that fool's name), get back to the values and principals that made this country great, and the best part: "Like Reagan said: you threaten us, you lose!"
He is one helluva smart guy and knows what the problems we face are, knows how to tackle them (like a good military tactical leader should) and even goes as far as to attack the people supporting the Ground Zero Mosque. I really wish we could get more people going for office or already in office to be like him. If I ever ran for any seat in government I'd pretty much echo everything he said. And side note, he began his speech with by and large the best opening ever:
"I am God fearing first, woman fearing second." Powerful, provocative, and how everyone should feel.
