Ati 1911

Hey fellers,

I called up to Jensen Arms just now instead of doing work to ask if they had any Rock Island Armory 1911's in. I was going to pick one up for Independence day. Shay let me know they were out of RIA's but being a good salesman, he reccomended that I take a look at American Tactical (ATI) 1911's since they had a few of those in stock.

Does anyone know of these, the price is fantastic...but I'm always a little hesitant when its too good to be true. Can anyone shed any light on the ATI 1911's?

I saw one of their .22LR 1911s at my lgs recently. It was quite a bit better in fit, finish,& feel than a similar Chiappa model I had handled a whille back. Still don't think it's for me. However, I guess you're talking about a .45 version which I haven't yet seen. WB

I like the ATI's. For the money i think they are pretty good.
