So in the last month, two separate pic hosting sites I (used to) use have spewed naughty popups when people click on thumbnails in classifieds. This distinctly and strongly vexes me- does anyone have recommendations for good clean family safe hosting? (Not Photobucket- does not work at all for me). I never see the popups because my system is pretty much popup, virus and shananegan-proof. But I don't want to hear of another gent that gets slapped down because pr0n shows up while he is innocently browsing in front of his SO...

Thanks! [Beer]

Is photobucket popping up bad stuff for people, suffering from evil karma, who use windows? I have a bunch of posts on various boards that have photobucket links. I use Ubuntu on my home computers and my Windoze work PC has a competent IT department keeping malware away.

I went to Yahoo web site hosting years ago...$12.95 a month...then again I sell alot on Ebay. First company I paid to host pics...took my money and went belly up. I dunno about the free pic hosting sites.

Yeah...I pay the $19 year for Photobucket Pro. It's the easiest pic-hosting website I've ever tried. I hate ImageShack and all the brain damage you have to go through to see a photo. If I see an ImageShack link I don't even bother to click on it in order to see the photo.

So, yeah, PhotoBucket. But since you're not interested I won't recommend it. Even though it's the best...and easiest.

Alrighty, finally got photobucket to work. No more ta-tas at the wrong time (and no wisecracks! There *ARE* occasions where they are not appropriate...)

Same here. I subscribe though, don't use the freebie service. Only problem I've had with them is they go through my album and delete any nudie photos, and I don't appreciate that. If I wanna keep photos of ta-tas in my album, that's my bizness.
