Anybody know anybody who's friend's cousin is hiring somebody for...
-fabrication
-mechanical/automotive service/repairs
-ranch work
-stable work
-home repairs
... or anything else? Preferably in the Loveland/Greely/FoCo area or surrounding area?

Thanks [Beer]

Would you work on an oil rig?

I would, but most companies I've checked with in that industry require 1 year contracts, and I ship out in November.

Ahh, that puts a damper on things. Are there any mines up there?

Not sure, I suppose that's a field I could look into. I wouldn't mind the work, I just don't have any mining experience.

Oil companies are pretty much exclusively importing hispanic labor to work the rigs. I tried to apply, the guy at darko almost chuckled. He said we're phasing out local labor. Not hard to imagine where they are getting labor.

Want to work security? Nights and shit but it's tough to find a job up here. I had a job lined up with the uranium drillers near nunn but that was shot down by the enviro's and lefty's.

Security would be fine with me. I've looked into it and most companies require experience and certifications for security jobs though, and I have neither of those.

Clean record? I can help you get hired by my company not many hours at first but we're trying to fire a few libtards and mall ninja's. I'll let my boss know in the morning. I'm sorry dude name again? We'll get you hired and a security license.

Well either way good luck man. Where are you actually going to move?

Thanks, lemme know what your boss says. Not sure yet... wherever the job is I suppose. I need to get out of the place I'm in, so I figure I can start working somewhere and either stay with a buddy or live out of my truck if it comes to it till I get paid and can find a place.

BS.

I know 4 roughnecks who are not on any contract and have bounced to 2 different companies over a 3 month period. North Dakota is looking for any and all willing to work in the field. Up side is good pay, down side is the wet season is almost over.
Hell Taco bell in williston? is paying $15.00 per to start. I have a 2-3 week old local paper from ND with job listings if needed.
My advice to not disclose you are gone in nov.

Agreed with not letting them know you are leaving in November...they can't stop you

I was about to say, aren't you shipping in a few months?

To hell with the job man, just play til you leave!

The only guy I know who works on an oil rig is as white as I am.
I also got a security job with zero experience. It was for the Democratic National Convention though, so they probably were hiring anyone.
