I have shot my AR twice since I got it. The first time was at Cherry Creek to sight it in/see where it shoots. Out of 99 rounds I hit paper fouur times. Adjusting iron sights, cussing nothing I could do was working. So I gave up and was going to research this thing. Then in the mean time I took her apart cleaned it, lubed it etc.

This past weekend, I moved the rear sight back to the starting point where it was when I got it. This weekend I could not miss with it. My wife was shooting like a master. I am very happy I can hit with it, but WTF happened at Cherry Creek?????

What distance did you start at?
You must have hit paper since you moved the sights so where were your first hits?
What did you change to adjust and how many clicks/turns?
What type of sights do you have?

Don't worry about it. Sometimes you start turning those dials, it can be confusing, you go in the wrong direction and compound the prob. Generally a factory built AR is pretty close to sighted in when you get it.
They have their own factory settings, then you dial it in to your range preference.
