Rain fell and it smells like when you were a kid and went camping in the woods.

Yup, know what you mean. I live out in the woods and every day is like Saturday for me. Retired = not working unless I find something that I WANT to do, like pack up a bunch of stuff to take to the Gun Show this weekend.[Beer]

Us mountain folks have it pretty good. Last night I heard the neighbor doin some shootin, so grabbed one of the AR's and ripped off 10-15 rapid fire shots. Next thing I know more Neighbors chimed in. 21 Gun Solute! It was SWEET!! [Coffee]

Being under the hood isnt all that bad, however it sucks in commerce city with ambient temps around 100.. You can have all the shop fabrication you want, I like the BIG machines. I've been working on a tire shreddar the past few weeks and it's pretty cool. Every hour that thing eats a semi-load of tires and shits them out into 2" pieces, well, it does now anyway![Coffee]

Wife just got home. She had to wait for a doe to get out of the way, so she could park the car.
Neither one was in a hurry.

Yup, sure love living up here.

Wish I could find a way to make a living up in the hills ... would love to get out of town and out on some land (but I don't want to live out in the plains).

Aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....you said it, Mtn.Man.

Life in Bailey with the wife, 4 Terriers, 1 Corgi, on my little 16 acre patch of heaven is pretty good.

I was just in sling shot distance from a Fox, a Rabbit, some Bats, and a Coyote tonight.
