Very cool... my friend got his son a new gun for his 15th, before the birthday he asked: "What do you want for your birthday, son?
Son: "A gun."
Father: "Okay, but what kind of gun?"
Son: "A kind of gun I don't already have..."
Father: "Shotgun, pistol, bolt rifle, muzzle loader, assault rifle, lever action, revolver... I don't think there is a kind of gun you don't already have, unless I get you a zip gun or a saturday night special."
Son: "Fine, just get me a new bolt action then."

Very cool, reminds me of an old pic of me with my first gun, a break top .410 shotty. I was 11 and it was a Christmas gift. I cant wait for this coming Christmas when my oldest (also 11) will get his first gun, he has narrowed it down to a 10-22 in a bullpup stock, a Henry lever action .22, or a GSG 1911 .22, all fine choices.
