what to do with all the ...

what do i do with all these damn shotgun hulks ???
i have a small mountain of them and id like to find something else to do with them other than toss them in the dumpster .any suggestions ??

If they are AA, STS or Gun Club and in good shape you can sell them to trap guys who reload. Those are the common brands they typically use to reload. I use AA but have thousands of hulls...

If they are beat up then I would say they are trash. Not sure you could even recycle them.

there are so many that i would not even know where to begin sorting (at least a pick up truck load )
if i dont come up with something in the next few days ill just toss them in the dumpster

Pay the neighborhood kids a penny a piece to cut the bases off and recycle the brass? I would think the plastic could be recycled like water bottles and stuff too...

id want a string for every member that shows up , there will be plenty of left overs for her to keep . hit her up and ask if she would be willing to help . i might be able to help out with the cost of lights and supply's if she is willing to donate time

I hear ya but if you just want to get rid of them that will work.

Maybe you can find a school based trap/skeet team to donate them to. I was on the CSU team and we went through a lot of shells every weekend. We rotated who re-loaded during the week.

That is a good idea. Let me see what I have to load em with and I can run some out for clean up days im sure. I might have to wait until pay day again. Think I'm running low on target shot.

Almost all shotgun hulls are steel.. the ones that look brass are plated
test them with a magnet, only really high end shells are really brass
