Don't forget magazines and other supplies. Ten $20 mags would take $200 to replace. I was shocked a couple years ago when I added up my mag inventory. Holsters and gun cases add up fast too.

My money goes to tools. And when there is any extra there are extra tools that are needed.
Maybe a little ammo here and there.

I would see pic's of a bunch of guns and wonder, what use does someone have for all those guns? Why so many guns? Where do they keep them all?

and now I know!

I realized my safe was full the other day and had an anxiety attack. To relieve my anxiety I went out and bought another gun.[Bang]

Are you doing a special HO policy or something I don't yet know about? I need to insure my $1,000s worth of guns and accessories that aren't covered in my Homeowners policy.

Hello Robert... [ROFL2]
My name's Ryan and I'm addicted to firearms. I've spent about 40% of my income in the last 6 months on guns, ammo, and gun accessories.

Maybe we should start a Gunaholics Anonymous and neet at some ranges.

We could try to get it down to a list of essential guns. Here's a first take:

1. Huntng
2. Target shooting (rifle, shotgun & pistol)
3. Self defense
4. CCW (Not the same as 3)
5. It just looks cool.
6. I'm going to get around mounting a scope, refinishing, or whatver.

Of course there have to be spares for all these.

What happens if almost every gun of yours fits into every category? (well rifles not in the CCW) but I can use all of my guns for 1-3, 5, 6... It just depends on the situation.

Well then we need a longer list.

Shouldn't GA be a twelve step program. The secret admonition could be "Are you a friend of John (Moses Browning)". [Coffee]

I don't want to think about what I have tied up in firearm schtuff. [Eek2]

Or maybe a shorter list-
1. Because I want it.
2. Because I really want it.

Well maybe # 2 is excessive..

I will be doing this soon as well. Kind of dreading actually knowing the total.
