Do Not Buy Chiappa 1911-22

I have a Chiappa 1911-22 and about every 2k rounds the bushing breaks, and every thing shoots out the front. My brother has one and has the same problem, also there are a lot of people on forums having the same problem. Also you have to file the front sight to get it to shoot halfway decent. fixed rear sight which keeps coming loose. DO NOT BUY ON YOU WILL BE SORRY.

Good to know. That's that new pistol that just came out in the last couple years? The 1911 in .22lr?

Yes it is. I am going to get mine back from the shop, and trade it in on a GSG 1911-22. I will post more when I go to the range.

So far I have seen or heard of at least 8 GSG pistols with this same issue. It's not a big deal. Both Chiappa and GSG will send you a replacement bushing in the mail in less than a week. Don't sweat the small stuff!! :D

Don't sweat the small stuff!! :D I have more rounds though my gsg than my chiappa and have not had one issue with it, I am trying to see if it will do the same thing, and the nice thing about gsg it takes a normal 1911 bushing, the chiappa just looks like a 1911, the gsg is actualy built like one.
