I Need To Find Out What Is The Best Bulk 22lr To Use In A Cmmg 22

I Know That Cci Mini Mag Works Good; But Is There Any Other Bulk 22lr That Also Works.
Anybody Know Who Has The Best Price On Cci Mini Mag Around Denver?
Thanks For The Help

I use federal bulk in my dedicated 22 upper. Every once in a while there seems to be a off batch, but for the most part it works fine. I've also found the 40gr round nose cci blazers work pretty well. I actually like those better than the federal stuff. You're better off buying your mini-mags in bulk from places like midway.

I'm with mutt i have had great luck with the cheapo blazers. they feed and function great. I seem to have trouble with remington .22's feeding correctly.

I have about 800 rounds thru my CMMG dedicated .22 upper. It has occasional stovepipes with Fed. bulk (Walmart), but never a problem with CCI Minimags.

My standard advice for .22 kits is to buy a box of everything, try it all, and find what your particular conversion and rifle combo likes best. Hopefully it'll work well with one of the inexpensive bulk pack types, but if not, at least you'll know what it shoots best, and not stock up on something that will give you nothing but problems.

I have gotten pretty dismal accuracy with Federal Bulk pack

Says you! 5 shots at 50 meters this morning. Eley Edge isn't exactly bulk pack, though.

Since .22lr ammo is as rare as tits on a bowling ball and harder to find than an honest politician.....

Bulk pack ammo is hard to find for sure. But accurate ammo is easy to find. Really easy. Just look for Eley Match, Tenex or Lapua Center-X. You could have 100,000 rounds on your doorstep Tuesday morning.

This. My .22s all like Remington Golden Bullet bulk packs. When it comes to bulk, it's really up to the gun.

Same here. Federal AutoMatch shoots groups 1/2 the size of the Federal Bulk.
