Witnesses report that Morrow entered the ambulance to retrieve his handcuffs. As he passed the juvenile restrained on the ambulance gurney, Morrow struck the juvenile on the face with a closed fist. Then, in an affidavit obtained by 9News, Morrow said to the paramedics:

Nobody saw anything, right? Morrow faces criminal charges of child abuse, second-degree assault, tampering with a witness and official oppression, 9News reports.

Kid probably said something to the cop as he walked by the gurney, so the cop popped him one. What a guy!!

This kind of stuff gives cops a bad name. Being verbally abused is just part of the job and you can't take it personally, especially if the person is drunk and running their mouth. That deputy should be ashamed of himself.

My response is usually..."Make sure you tell all the other inmates what an asshole I am, meanwhile I will be home not worrying about being raped in the shower, by the way, are those cuffs too tight?"

I'm actually satisfied that charges have been filed against this guy. I don't think he'll ever be in law enforcement again.

Yeah, felony child abuse charges will pretty much make it impossible. Now, his only option is day labor or congress. [Muaha]

I had something similar happen in 1993. I was involved in a bar fight outside fenway park...long story short, I was drunk and handcuffed and shot my mouth off to one of the cops and paid for my mouth with billy club to the face (fractured an ocular bone)

I discussed it with my attorney (fathers friend) the next day, and he informed me on the way the system actually works.

"you were involved in a fight, he'll have 10 other cops say that he never touched you and that you were beat up pretty good when I was taken out of the bar".

He then told me that pushing the issue may do more bad for me than good, he'd do whatever I thought I wanted to do, but as a friend of my fathers his advise was to let it go.

This kid is lucky that the ambulance workers did the right thing. Apparently the thin blue line doesn't cross over to the ambulance

The kid deserved it in every way. Sometimes they just need a good pop in the jaw. That being said, a Sherrif's deputy is the LAST one entitled to do so...

um, no.
shooting your mouth off doesn't warrant police brutality while in custody.

No, it certainly does not . . . but Darwin says stupidity can be punished severely. That kid is real lucky the paramedics had a problem with what the cop did and said or this wouldn't be in the news at all.

And now we know that the cop has done a bad thing and hopefully justice will be served one way or another. With that said everyone once again can look and form there own opinion.

I didn't say that. All I said was that he probably deserved it.cant think of a single reason that a cop should hit someone without being struck first . i dont care whats said, its wrong! now if you or i hit the little punk then sure maybe he had it coming. but if the brat is under age , you will always be wrong and there is never an excuse .

That's funny that you think he deserved it. Have you ever said anything smartass? Did you deserve a broken jaw? These cops are making very good bucks with retirement plans that would make most of cry. They should act professional.

The cop is a fuckstick. He expected everyone to lie for him, the way they always do. This is a rare exception that he is getting caught. I bet he has done it over and over again. When he wasn't doing it, he was lying for another fuckwad that did. If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times....85 precent of cops, give the rest of them a bad name. They lie like sons of bitches to protect each other. They even practice their lies before they go out on the street.

If you were truly (and I mean truly) friends with a cop that has been around, he would tell how the code works.
