I was going to ask if it was a Tom Servo commemorative, but figured it go over more heads then it already has . Enjoy it.. Our daughter gave us a Cuisinart 4-1 slow cooker. Been using it almost as much as the smoker
I watched ALL of those things man. Matched my sense of humor perfectly as a younger lad. The Vitamix blender is insane. I was always fine with our el cheapo blenders... or so I thought. Now that I've used this thing I can never go back to Walmart special blenders. This 6300 retails for like $599 but we got it on a deal for only $250 shipped so it seemed like the right time to get a real man's blender. So far I have no complaints.
Smoke me up a brick or 2 of Mozzarella. i'll supply the cheese and apple wood. Smoke it makes a great addition to pasta salad. Not bad as a stand alone, either.
Bring it on down. You've got a deal.

Mtn.man made a dog cage for the back of my truck several years ago. I finally got a sunshade made for it, to keep them cool. Gnihcraes recommended his buddy Ray to me for the job, and he did nice work. (Anybody need any upholstery work of any kind, Ray can take care of you. PM me or Kelly if you need him).

S&W 625-3, .45acp, born Nov. 1984. The .45 is my favorite caliber, my older son has an original S&W Model 1917 and I've wanted a .45 wheelie for a long time to compliment my 1911s, glad I found this one. Got a nice Hogue wood grip on the way to replace the ugly assed Pachmayr.

Yeah I'm loving the 4.0, and granted I've never had what most would consider quick or powerful vehicles, this thing is impressive for a heavier SUV, will sit you back in the seat at least.

I may take you up on that, I've already joined most of the Xterra forums (same screen name), so I'm researching quite a bit. I know you can fit 33's with no lift, but I'd actually prefer to stay with the 265's as I want to keep the gas mileage and performance, but I am thinking of a 2" lift, sliders, and winch (either in factory bumper or aftermarket). Little bit at a time tho, the important part is my monthly payments are cheaper than the Taco.

Got this a murdochs. It's a kinetic ram style that runs off 120v. Makes no noise if you'be got it plugged into the wall. Will handle 18" logs. I split a little pine so far and it's great. Don't have any hardwood to try. It's fast and two hand operation make it safe, my daughter thinks it fun. ( we will see how long that lasts)
Best part is was $399. A days rental for a hydraulic was 100+ and I don't know how long it will take to work through my pile.

I like the Dry Dock. I'll trade you.
The Dry Dock isn't too bad. Nobody in their right mind would try that root beer stuff.
I don't even really like root beer to start with. I would trade the five remaining beers for PBR, or even Guiness at this point.
PBR, really? Might as well say Carling's Black Label. But, don't, it's just too nasty to comprehend.
One of my all time favorite beers is dry dock vanilla porter
Okay, a little background on the CBL comment. In the '70's, I was on the Coast Guard Cutter Rush, coming back from an Alaska Patrol, maybe it was on the way to an Alaska Patrol, it was in the '70's, still a bit hazy. Captain "Hoagy" Holmgren decided that we needed a beer fest while underway. We heard it was the first time this had occurred in the Coast Guard, (can't confirm that). Anyway, as I remember it, a ship full of thirsty sailors, first ever beer fest ever on an underway Cutter, and there was left over beer.
That says a lot about Carling Black Label. I was 18, and I almost swore off beer at that time.
Almost.
And it was a LONG time ago.

I did the front and rear bumpers, fender flares, door guards, and a strip along the front edge of the hood. I am going to do my wheels soon too. I think it turned out great. I am interested to see how well it holds up.

iPhone 5s, didn't realize I had an upgrade available through Verizon, so I figured I give IOS a shot. The 5s is getting dated at this point, but I got it for the compact size. Hoping (if I end up liking IOS), that they will offer a smaller phone than the 6 in the future. Now to get a case for this fragile thing.

I really like the iPhones, nothing else Apple but the phones are good. Magpul case for the win! Amazon was selling them for $7 a piece a while back and i grabbed OD and Orange. Drop my phone all the time and it protects it perfectly. Also suggest the Tempered glass screen protector.
hurley842002
08-12-2015, 15:27
I lost a bit of faith in the magpul cases when I dropped my S4 and the screen completely shattered. I believe the tempered glass is supposed to help prevent that tho. I'll probably end up with the Lifeproof Nuud. I had a Lifeproof on my S5, and the only downside to it was removing it to swap batteries, and obviously that's not an issue with this phone.
Otterbox or Lifeproof cases are da bomb lol. I have a Lifeproof for my 5s that my son used in Afghanistan-he gave it to me when he upgraded to the 6.

apple fragile!?!?!?
I find that samsung screens are ALOT more fragile. That is based on my experience with owning the following
Apple 3g, 3gs, 4, 4s, 5, 5s, 6plus
Samsung S4 Active, Note 3
I've broke my S4 active on the first drop... literally the first drop! My 6plus is the only apple device I've broken the screen on and i drop my phone ALOT! A weekly if not daily occurance. Sold my Note 3 because i didn't like the OS.
My advice is JB that 5s using Taig. Download iCaughtYou so you can 1. disable powering off the phone if it gets stolen 2. send a pic using the front facing camera to yourself. Not sure why iOS and adroid devices don't make that a native app. I guess thats why i don't like andorid is if someone steals your phone they remove the battery and you no longer track it. I've tracked a buddies phone to the thief's house where he called the cops. Cops showed up and they returned the phone.

I was only basing my fragile iPhone on comments from friends who use iPhone, they made it very clear to get protection right away.
On a side note, if anyone has a good condition Lifeproof nuud for the 5/5s they want to sell, I'm your guy.
I've never broken a phone screen, ever. The Otterbox has treated my S4 pretty well. I drop my phone daily.

Exactly correct. I have the Defender and my phone is fine. Wife has the Commuter and hers is BROKE. NEVER buy a phone case at the store. You can get the Defender of Amazon for the same price as they sell the Commuter in the store.

Always wanted to try one of thesee, please post a range report... :)
I've already had to refill the shot cup. I stood around some dog crap in my back yard and unloaded on some flies. Flies are FAST, so you definitely need good shots, but a decent hit stuns them enough to finish them off. Two good shots will stun a wasp enough to where you can just unload on it. What I like it best for so far is spiders. You can get a few inches away and they don't move fast enough to dodge. Usually one good shot will splatter a spider. The shot pattern is relatively tight, but the closer the better. Pretty fun so far. I've already killed probably 20-30 flies and spiders combined in about 30 minutes just because I have an abundance of both where I live.

When I upgraded from the 4 to the 5, I was not happy with the size increase, but my old 4 couldn't support new apps and such. I too am hoping they offer a smaller iPhone version soon. I have had the "Lifeproof" case on my iPhone 5 for more than 2 years now and it's been awesome. Love that it is slimmer and lighter than the otterbox. (or at least it was at the time of purchase)

Yeah I'm just over the jumbo phones, not necessary for my uses. The 5s is just a tad small as far as holding in the hands go, so with a decent case it should be about perfect. According to the salesman I got my phone from (so take it for what it's worth), quite a few people are still buying the 5s because of size. Hopefully that's true, and Apple will offer a "mini" of whatever their next phone is.
I have one too and love it.
Here are some marketing slogans I've come up with after having this gun for less than 6 hours.
"The most fun you'll ever have standing over a hot pile of dog shit!"
"Think you can't have salt sprayed into both of your eyes and laugh at the same time? THINK AGAIN!"
"What pairs well with both flies and spiders? SALT!"

A herd of them moved into my tomatoes. I've been pulling a few off every morning for the past 2 weeks.
I realize that they won't be killed in 1 shot. And that is fine. I want to shoot them in the morning. And they will fall into my perfectly pH balanced soil wondering: 'WHY'?
They'll slowly perish. And I like that.

Ah, but that's a "receiver cover", and it's "brasslite"...so not sure how it would match. Ever since my time in the Coast Guard, I've had an aversion to polishing brass...or anything else. Except for one G17 barrel.
Browning 92 Skinner Sights. These sights have replaceable apertures. The ones for the Browning and Henry had different diameters, so I swapped them out to see how the smaller one looked on the Henry. Well, that didn't work out. The diameter of the threads were slightly different. The one that came on the Henry sight was .214 external thread diameter, and the Browning one was .213. Doesn't sound like much, but threads on the brass mount were smaller than the threads on the blued steel mount. I could fit a #10 drill through the steel threads, but only a #13 through the brass one. I had to ream the brass one with successively larger drills (by hand) until I could get both apertures to thread into the brass mount.

I should have heeded that statement. When we moved up here I got a nice little saw thinking it would be more than enough. This year I decide I'm going to cut firewood instead of paying for it and the little guy just couldn't hang.

New to me. It's a Century, but the folds and welds look good. The bolt/ carrier is not ground and bolt gap is good. Came with a couple HK 40's and promag 30's. (those HK's are worth their weight in gold) I've got a Navy lower on order to replace the crappy one that's on there. Also got parts inbound for a paddle mag release. Time to get the dremel out. [Muaha] Now just need to keep an eye out for a slim G3 handguard to cut down for this guy.

H & R Pardner 12 gauge.
Walmart $97.19 out the door!!
Clearanced out from $189.
Saw this morning but was on the way to work. It was still there when I returned. The price was to good to pass and owned it in less then 40 minutes.
They had a few guns on clearance to include an AR for $499!!!! Down from $997. That one sold by the time I got back in the afternoon.

I think some Colts too.
Story is that Walmart is dropping "sporting" rifles and will continue to carry standard hunting/bolt rifles.
Picked up some more pistol hangers and another rifle rest for the downstairs safe. Seems like I always need the rifle that's in the back, and need somewhere to rest the ones in front for a minute.

I want to take on these 4 inch bastards with the Bug-A-Salt:
http://www.tienchiu.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/hornworm-400x266.jpg
A herd of them moved into my tomatoes. I've been pulling a few off every morning for the past 2 weeks.
I realize that they won't be killed in 1 shot. And that is fine. I want to shoot them in the morning. And they will fall into my perfectly pH balanced soil wondering: 'WHY'?
They'll slowly perish. And I like that.
I'll then come out in the evening and whisper to them: 'These tomatoes are MINE'.
I'll be heading to an Ace Hardware tomorrow.
You should really see somebody

But then they would ALL need to be in front!
That's exactly why when people hear the term "wall safe" they should be talking about the "Irving" wall safe. It's the model that is 15' x 1' x 4' and covers one whole side of the room.

You'd better be careful! Gun safes are subject to the "if you build it, they will come" rule.
I've headed that advice for many years now and as a result I have a tiny little safe jammed back with another small house worth of gear. Like I have to gently but sternly lean into the door to get the sucker closed each time. I'm afraid if I lose too much more weight I may not be able to get it closed myself and may need my wife's help. Never thought I'd say this but I may need a bigger safe. Hell, half of my arsenal is strategically stashed throughout the house. Not because I'm paranoid but because it looks cooler to make hidden shit than just having a pile of long guns & handguns in the corner when rfriends come over. lol

I had one big one high up above my garage on the backside of a beam. Another in the hollowed out portion of a post on my deck. My deck is composite and the posts are hollow, the wasps love those spots, I should fill them with foam.
