I feel myself in going to do that every year, but never do cause I don't have room for multiple sets of wheels.
That's awesome, what's the size?

Not sure what brand that is but I still use my Smart Carry every week for deep concealment when I go to town. It's 18 years old and worn but not worn out.
It's daily wear for me, so I think I run it out quicker than most. Regardless, I think I got a good 3+ years out of the last one.
This may be an off brand, I am not sure. I got it from Amazon. The first one I got has the velcro on "the right side." This new one, has the velcro on the wrong side, for right handed people. If Smart Carry has/does this I will look into theirs.
Thank you!

Excellent, they should perform very well for you. Congrats!
Good binoculars are a joy to use and worth every penny. If you use them daily plan to wear them out in 6 to 10 years and upgrade to the latest greatest. Hard to anticipate now but expect optic technology to improve dramatically over the next few years.

I kind of want one of those coins - they look interesting even if they are made out of copper.
And yes, Amazon does sell coins similar to that...I could see hollowing out that coin, installing a near field receiver/transmitter and have that coin hold your bitcoin wallet.87718
Hit the normal local stores for my favorite hot sauce....Target use to stock it - but nope. So ordered it online from the source.
I find this version has a light sweet pepper taste over the stronger green / bell pepper taste of the standard version.

In Old Colorado City, just a couple stores East of Meadow Muffins (or whatever it's called now) is a shop that carries a bunch of hot sauces, you should check them out. They have a prominent "Open carry welcome here" sign out front.

Just got a set of these yesterday. What a sound game changer !!!! (so much for cut and paste a pic)
Picked up a plinker, Ruger 10/22 from 2013, excellent condition, came with sling swivels/rail and a brand new in the box cheapo Simmons .22 scope for $170 for everything. Can't wait to see the grandsons shooting the rifle-the older one is old enough, still need to wait a couple of years on the younger one.

I've been away from the truck game for a few years, but I loved my Bakflip. How is the Retrax better?
Asking for my future truck :)The panels on my Bakflip were separating. Maybe due to abuse. I always dropped the last section from 6 inches or so to close it. And I hated the cover leaning on the back of the cab when fully open. I like to take my smoker camping, and of course it didn't fit underneath the Bakflip. Always the worry of the last section flipping when driving.
With the Retrax there's no need to open the tailgate to access the bed. And no worries of it blowing closed when in motion. The action can be closed and locked at any point.
I really like the ease of getting the Retrax with rails to accept a lot of T-slot mounts for carrying things above the cover. I believe that can be had with Bakflip as well, but mine was not equipped with it.
Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
One thing to keep in mind about the Retrax is you do lose some bed space at the front of the bed where it rolls up.
The tradeoff needs to be an informed decision.

Agreed, you lose some bed space. Approximately 13.5 inches square from the front of the bed and top of the bed rail.
I put 10 sheets of drywall under it yesterday and had room for more. (For me, the advantage of a long bed is the minimal impact of the Retrax.)

Bitchin, nice ride.
The Tabasco mail order was perfect. Love that style flavor.
I have a few cheaper knifes; ok - most of the knives I own are on the cheap side. But my Kershaw (china made) was having some issues staying locked open. So I decided to give two knifes with good reps for quality hardware a try.
Right now I think the Mini Griptilian folds much better than the Spyderco. Tho I did have to spend a bit of time flicking it open closing it up to break the knife in right.
The Spyderco has a back compression lock that requires a blood offering if I try to close it one handed. Yea, training on my side of the house is lacking. Both knifes are good to go for EDC use in my book, Well below the Colorado 3.5" length law so that is a major plus to me.
My goal was blade length of about 3" due to company policy; plus that size seems to be fine to carry 100% of the time.
I went with the Light Weight version for the Spyderco - it sort of feels too light weight. However, the Spyderco does feel grip wise better than the Benchmade.
[added]
The Para 3 seems to be working out a bit better than I expected as I break in the knife by doing the flick it open and close routine. There seems to be a bit more drag in the Para 3 design - but the knife still works quite well. I did the dab of oil on the pivot point early as I switched to the Para 3 for full time use. The amount of blood needed to keep the knife happy when closing has almost dropped to zero when doing a one handed close routine.
I have found the factory edge on both knifes superb. For US made EDC knifes both seem to be worth the money.

I helped a client begin their road to recovery after they got hit 2 weeks ago. Can't say who directly but it was newsworthy.
Can't do tape restores without the (unnamed) backup server, can't restore the backup server's database or data from encrypted tapes when they take out the key servers...
They're still struggling but can at least read tapes. Their VTL and Tier1 primary (block) storage and tier 1 compute wasn't affected but I think they had to recover some lower tier storage and they had backups on tape that were not on VTL.

Its tough when you don't get the joke.
"Let's Go Brandon" is from an interview with NASCAR racer Brandon Brown and NBC that took place in Oct. 2021. He had just won the NASCAR Xfinity Series. In the background, the crowd can be heard chanting "F--k Joe Biden!"
But in what might be an effort to remain professional, the interviewer, Kelli Stavast, said that the crowd was saying "Let's go, Brandon!"
Okay, now I am laughing!

I have astigmatism too. It definitely affects the dot. But for self-defense situations and center mass shots, it?s still fantastic, and way faster than irons. It takes time getting used to finding the dot. Using your iron sights, and slowing your draw to get consistency will help train that though. Lots of dry fire.

What a cutie! What's Liberty's story?
Liberty is a Rat Terrier, 9month old. We picked her up Saturday.
We had a Jack Russell/Rat Terrier mix, Jenna, for about 11 years, she passed away from an aneurism bursting last Nov.
Jenna was a unique dog to say the least and and a big part of the family, we finally decided that we could look for another dog to add to the family.
Our GSD is lonely, having always had Jenna around.
Our GSD and Liberty are not quite sure what to think of each other yet. But they do get along.

I love the JRTs and rat Terriers. They were a big part of my life for 25 years we lived in Colorado. Liberty looks like she's pretty tuned in to what's going on around her.
We had a rat terrier for a spell when I was still living at home. Was a stray my sister picked up. That dog was fast. Used to run out into the yard where birds were picking away at fruit that had fallen onto the grass from the several apple trees planted by the previous owner. She caught several. She seemed happy until she managed to eventually run away from us.
Liberty looks like a great pup.

Growing up we had a couple Rat Terriers. My mom loved those dogs. My dad hated them. If it couldn't hunt, it was useless to him. We always had beagles for rabbit hunting and they were kept outside/garage if too cold. Our Terriers also hunted tree rats and birds.
The first one, Sammy, tried to eat a car out on the Grandparent's farm. Did not go so well for him. he may have suicided himself. I think he had something on Hilary.
The replacement dog, Tammy (same sire/bitch) died of old age. She almost died when my dad 'accidentally" nearly cleaved off her snout as she poked up between his legs while he was killing chickens. Vet saved her, but she never got within 10 feet of the old man after that. LOL.
Got a designated Trap shotgun after being absent from my shotgun collection for over 6-7 years.

I was pondering the K but since my other can is a Sandman S and 30 cal, the Turbo will be about the same size, use to it. Who knows, always need two Stamps in cue someone once told me. :)

I was pondering the K but since my other can is a Sandman S and 30 cal, the Turbo will be about the same size, use to it. Who knows, always need two Stamps in cue someone once told me. :)
I was thinking that as a possible accident, but the only 30 cal I will have will be a bolt gun so not too worried.

I have a pws ar in 762X39 so it would be really easy for someone not knowing to put it on there especially since I have a sandman k that is almost the same size.
The primal would be really cool for a big bore gun for sure!

Totally get it, I may switch most of the 5.56 stuff to Q Cherry Bomb pattern, seems to be cheaper more adapter mounts and people give them good thumbs up.

A good buddy of mine had a really difficult time taking the cherry bomb of since there isn’t a flat for a wrench. He removed all of them after that, he found a guy who makes a cherry bomb with a wrench flat so it’s easier to install and remove

Funny, I just got two of these after reviewing a slew of reviews both print and video.
Reason for me, I use Ballistic Advantage Hanson profile barrels and not easy to swap out to an adjustable gas block. Both my ARs 14 & 16" are over gassed, ejecting 2-230, painfully so to my face. Tried to play with heavier buffers which helped with ejection but the gas to the face was not going to tolerate.
I tested the 14" and got to say it worked....... to a point. This is weird; with Frontier .223 55 grain ammo, unsuppressed perfect, 3-330 ejection. CAN on, turned all the way to suppressed mode (#4), "PERFECT!" No gas to the face ejected 3-330. 4.0oz buffer
I then tested with supposed to be stronger loads, Frontier 62gr 5.56 unsuppressed again perfect ejection, with CAN on, same full suppressed position (#4) would not push the BCG back enough to cycle fully. I had to use position 2, about 40 rounds of the stuff. Maybe I am stupid to think 5.56 is supposed to be loaded hotter?!?
I have some other 62gr 5.56 stuff that I didnt bring with me to at the time, so will see if it works next trip.
Overall happy with the Carrier, now I got to try the 16"

Good to hear. Are you left handed? My primary has a yhm flip sight gas block, I could change it, but don't want to, I like it.
I'm also left handed so gas is my biggest worry as I'm gonna start suppressing all the things. Everything I read said these work great for that.
Plus the fact that I can quickly adjust on the fly and shouldnt have to mess with changing buffer weights just tickles me pink. I can't wait to get this out and try it with different combinations

I got to play with it again on the range. Found that various ammo may not yield full strength for cycling with a CAN on on the full #4 suppressed mode, SO having the ability to adjust in seconds with BCG (4 positions) instead of the GAS block is a huge benefit.
Gas to the face when adjust was non existent; however, the gas is still coming out the port? Guess you just need to try for yourself. The Carrier itself after a 100 rnds was a simple wipe down, I noticed shooting suppressed, that is it dirtier anyway, must be that back pressure thing.

The Springfield SA-35 arrived today! Ordered 10/30. I also ordered a couple of extra Springfield (Mec-Gar) 15rd mags from SA right after I ordered the pistol. First impressions-the fit/finish is excellent, no rattles, fantastic trigger, grips feel great, thumb safety snicks on/off very precisely. Really like the sight pic, the rear has a u notch, the only change I can see making is getting a front night sight with bright orange or green/yellow ring. Can't wait to hit the range.

OK now you did it. Now you will have to make a step by step thread with pictures. We are all waiting.
Several forums have hundreds-of-replies-long threads on building them. Which is why I figure that yes, I'll do a thread that will hopefully boil it down to something more terse!

Thanks Doc. It?s a killer build. Slide is the smoothest I?ve ever felt. Crazy. NH is my personal favorite. I completely understand the purist side of no rail. But, I love carrying a WML and with a full size 1911 adding a light really isn?t adding much to the heft of the firearm but adds plenty of capability. Just my opinion. Now, a commander on the other hand?

Even the two other guys who shot it wanted to know who made it. I looked at the Tisas, but they didn't have one in 9mm, since the ones they had were compact / officer model size

For $540, I’m impressed so far. No machine makes and it’s extremely smooth. I ordered a Wilson Combat spring set since the mag catch spring is a bit tight. Figured I’d change them all for $20. All the reviews say they are good to go so I’m hopeful. RIA Ultra Tac with a full rail or 2011 is my next purchase.

Pleasantly surprised with the 365X. Given that my daily carry is a Delta Elite, and that the smallest semi-auto I owned to date was a G19, I was prepared to find the 365X to be a miserable experience and relegated to my bike bag as a dog deterrent of last resort. But it isn't that bad to shoot.

I tried, I really tried to buy some stuff to help repair my fence. I hit a hand full of places and pretty much everyone is out of stock of useful things.
I did end up getting a Gordan Freeman style 48" pry-bar walking stick to help removing the old fence post.
So far the cement ring is bigger than a paper plate. And the metal from the harbor freight special had way too much flex it it for my uses. It does work quite well removing 2x4 toe nailed into the old 4x4 post.
I might have to dust off my Mattocks and get medieval on the cement. I had bought a eye screw to dig into the 4x4 post - but looks like that it rotted down a bit to get a good bite on the wood.
My next try I will use the mattocks to dig around the cement to see if it is worth trying a rope trick with wench or winch - I don't care which at this point. What might work is a widow maker field jack. No way to get a auto into the area due to little thinks like not having a gate big enough to get into the back yard...also something about the neighbor not one board with me 4x4 thru his back yard.

I eyeballed the new press release of the new Max size version of the printer - - coming real soon, and has the ability to work with 5 different print heads. The printer is not that hard to setup, and if you do it slowly and make sure you keep everything square it should calibrate without any issues.

Welcome to the Prusa Club. I have 2 Mini?s, a MK3S/MMUs+ and a five head XL on order?. Not a print farm, more of a garden.
The print beds that they have are what I consider to be the biggest things. PLA and PETg stick great to the smooth and textured sheet respectively, and the new ?satin? one works for both. The satin sheet on the mini is allowing me to print 25mm by 180mm tall round towers with out a brim or anything with out issues after about 6 prints. Still looking for a perfect solution for taulman Nylon/PCTPE. The smooth sheet with glue stick, a brim, and scotch tape to hold down the brim is my best solution.
I?ve printed all kinds of doo-dads. ARCA rail bipod adaptors, forend barrier stops, MP15-22 base plateretainers, HK PSP heat-shield/light-rail addons. MDT shorted me on a chassis from the Black Friday sale, so I?m going to print a chassis for my CZ457 this week.
Looking forward to the XL. Want to get some set up for PPSU, PEKK and maybe some PEEK. My lab at work just got a Filabot extruder and I was playing in the lab making some PET filament.
I have the older generation of Mk3 with an upgrade kit I plan installing over the holiday period. I eyeballed the new press release of the new Max size version of the printer - - coming real soon, and has the ability to work with 5 different print heads. The printer is not that hard to setup, and if you do it slowly and make sure you keep everything square it should calibrate without any issues.

Scored 6 boxes for $11.99 box at the local farm and ranch store. Not a great price, but pretty good in today's market.

^ pretty good deal there.
I was at MicroCenter in Denver Sat to pickup some parts and noticed a guy with a shopping cart full of PLA....he was a local toy maker and that was 2 week supply.
I tried out a new router for access point to by pass my upstairs network issues - fast....no love - oh; peak bandwidth was 3x faster (or more) - but the lag was 10 to 15 seconds before things data started to move. I fixed up one damaged chewed up cable that got me back online without wifi.
So no pretty picture of that router until I figure out if it is a lemon or not.

Where are you guys getting your gun parts STL from? I'm just getting started and have already tired of making upgrade parts for the Ender and different color Pikachu for my grandson (testing filaments).
Currently only have PLA+ for the generic stuff and PETG for other. Using bed weld and the stock glass plate. Works great if I keep the temps on the upper end. I'm impressed with how well this (relatively) cheap large bed printer is doing out of the box with minimal stringing and solid layers.
I started with Prusa slicer just yesterday and it seems to work pretty well for the most part.

I think that the design stage is the biggest advantage and hurdle for 3D printing. The printers are pretty reliable now, the materials are usuable for functional objects.
I design my own things in TinkerCad- like a 3rd grader. I’ve tried to step up to Fusion360, but I don’t use it enough to stay proficient. TinkerCad is simple enough and powerful enough for what I can do, but I need to step it up. TinkerCad has some serious limitations, especially on modding current designs.
I try to keep my ‘white’ online presence gun-stuff-free; no overt FB posts, no pics of guns directly attributed. Have had some bleed over to the ‘tactical black’ side. I have some accounts set up for pictures and for posting STL files. I was hoping to get that up and running over the Holidays since I want to post some designs I have.
One thing I do for function, is with the parts horizontal layers, I leave holes vertically, and then use wood screws to ensure that the layers have more integritry. Has really worked for me on high stress items like the ACRA bipod mount.

The first is a 97 4.6 2v 5spd 4x4 123K for $1100, the second is a 2002 5.4 2V auto 4x4 278K for $1000
The first has possibly a timing chain issue(No cam phasers in this engine), the second has a blown out plug. Daughter needs a vehicle soon, she has a horse and wants to be able to pull a horse trailer, and she has been working and saving her money, so one of these will be hers.

I see you aren't collecting 3v's... LOL
Plug shouldn't be hard. I encountered someone in the middle of nowhere Kansas at a gas station with an ejected plug. They obviously had no mechanical experience. I told them what had happened and that they weren't going to fix this themselves there. They hopped back in it and took off for their 300mi drive.

Yeah, I am back and forth on buying the plug repair kit, since both engines are prone to this issue it might be a good investment LOL

Yesterday, we got 3 movie tickets to Matrix 4. My kid waited for about 15mo to watch this. This is my first time about since 2009 or 2011 that I've been to movie theater, and they did change a lot.
Seating was the most surprising. Reclining chair was a huge surprise.

Haha. My son and I are going to the new Spider Man movie tomorrow. Will be the first time we've been to a theater in almost 2 years.
I've been telling him the joy of sneaking food into the theater. Asked him what he wanted to bring, thinking he'd say 'Twinkies' or something. He said 'Mac & Cheese'.
Will be interesting to have a Zip Lock bag full of warm mac & cheese shoved down my cargo pants pockets, but I'm game.
I may devote a little time to watch the new Matrix movie over the weekend.
I?ll be watching it on HBO in the comfort of my own home.

Yes they are. Got to try one out at the range a few months back and it was very fun although expensive
Checked online last night and a bunch of stuff I needed for a yard project was out of stock. All of the treated lumber was out of stock; and I would have to travel 50+ miles one way to find some.
So I figured I would get some of the smaller stuff at Lowe's and Home Depot - and I was surprised all of what I needed was there. So their online stock check bites.

I wasn't very happy with my pair of the Yamaha's. Much the same as you, I very much like my noise cancelling headphones for plane rides (long or short, really).
The sound quality of these is quite good (not on the level of true studio level head phones, but nothing with a closed back and ANC that works for an airplane ever will be). In a quiet environment, my home office for example, they really do a nice job of reproducing the complete sound profile of high quality audio. Past that? They are "Okay". On the plane the sound quality suffered with ANC (IMO), more so than my current pair of Bose QC's.
The ANC is also good, but not quite to the level of the Bose, to my ears. But this is very likely also a result of the lack of good fit/seal, which is my main complaint.
The big draw back to these for me was the fit and comfort of them. I found that they were far to easy to slip out of position if I leaned my head forward. I have a large head, and that makes fitting headphones and such a PITA, honestly.
Hopefully they fit better for you!

I'm a huge Yamaha fan, mostly old gear, but have modern yamaha AV and love it so I have high expectations. I also used to have a set of vintage yamaha headphones from the 80's that got lost or tossed in a move and I'm still kicking myself for that. Good examples on ebay go for about what these cost.
My head's not so huge, so if they fit and are basically ANY improvement over the jaybird earbuds, I'll be happy.

They will be a DRAMATIC improvement over any earbud, that is for sure!
I love my Bose QC 35s for air use. They do a great job canceling the cabin noise. Used my old QC 25s for a flight years ago and was surprised how much the background noise of the flight actually wore on me. The ANC really did remove stress from the trip.
Used my Airpods Pro on my last flight and they worked fairly well. Not as good canceling the noise, but a heckuva lot more convenient due to their small size.
I didn't realize Yamaha still made headphones. Hope you're happy with them!

Is that first holster for a Springfield hellcat by chance? [ROFL2]
I guess it was well past time to upgrade my 11+ year old laptop. I found a good deal in the scratch & Dent / refurb pile for fair price. I thought it was interesting that the extended coverage to 2 years on the refurb was less than the price for the same machine for 1 year for factory fresh version.
If I could have scrapped out the video parts and turned it into a video card, I could have sold said card for about 2x what I paid for the full laptop.89231
The machine is a basic I7, 16 gig ram + 1 T SSD drive, with 3060 GPU. It took a about 4 hrs to patch it up to current and fetch the standard apps using patchmypc software. I will say right now the display on the machine is perfect. I found using Patch My PC program (free for home users) is very useful in doing original installs and keeping the software it monitors up-to-date.
Nice. On cold winter nights you can route the exhaust fans to hand warmers. ;)

Like others here I've enjoyed watching the progress of your moves from Colorado. Sorry to see you go, partly because we never met in person. Looks like you've found a great place and I'm a little envious, (even though I'll never leave our home in Colorado). Your property is much like our farm outside Palisade but more green. I hope it becomes the culmination of your dream home.

The place is only a few years old. But, we're completely tearing out all the carpet from all the rooms and putting down vinyl plank floors. Repainting the whole interior. New kitchen cabinets and countertops on order. It's gonna be gorgeous when it's done. But getting there is gonna take a lot of work.
Met the neighbor (pretty much the only neighbor) yesterday. Really nice guy, just a little younger than us. Shooter, hunter, etc...
And of course... Plenty of room to park an RV or stay inside the guest room at Casa de Corgi if you find your way down there! :) And I'm anxious to see what kind of birds I can spot. I've heard lots of owls and coyotes but haven't seen any yet. Haven't spent enough time there to do much bird watching. Really looking forward to that.

A warning on vinyl plank flooring. We are about to replace ours. about 10 years old, and it's all cupping and coming apart. The hard material flooring doesn't do that. We did the hard flooring at the same time, and the upstairs bath and my shop are like new.

Depending on where it's gonna be installed, I'd look real hard at the ceramic tile that looks like wood. The stuff is amazing and will wear like iron.
I regret not using it for our flooring when we installed engineered wood a number of years ago.

We thought about the wood-look tile. Probably not a good fit in this house...but I did like it. The stuff we're putting down is supposed to be 100% waterproof and guaranteed for the life of the home. It damn well better be for the price.
I wasn't EVing (opposite of ICEing). I was using squeezee! :D
Glad that I got rid of 19mpg Taco. I wanted to get rid of a taco to offset the monthly gas cost.
Got a first EV as a lease. If I can get full 7500 tax, I would have just purchased it. When I lease it, Kia gets entire 7500 and put entire 7500 as a rebate.
7500* fed rebate + 3400 manuf rebate on lease cap reduction (down pay)= $10400
Traded in the Tacoma which MSRP was 36,500ish, and got 33000 after 3 years of usage. Down the down payment and got the rest.
Save $40-50/week on gas.
* there are no rebate for TSLA or GM. Little left for Nissan, and plenty on Kia+Hyundai.

Biggest factor was 10400 rebate incl manuf and taco trade in was 3k less than new, and I had taco for about 32mo.
I'm rural enough, and road trip so much that EVs aren't feasible for me quite yet. Maybe one day.

Haven't been to a gas station or changed oil in years and I only wish I did it sooner.

I not sure why people insist on repeating this wholly inaccurate information as if it was fact and is if it was the only consideration when choosing a vehicle. Least of which in a "picture of your latest purchase" thread.
Our (my wife and I) favorite hobby for years has been road tripping in Teslas... for free. We dreaded road trips before these and I, too, thought you had to have two cars if you own an EV: EV for local use and ICE car for road trips. This idea that an EV has to get 1,000 miles of range on a single charge before it's "road trip worthy" is just silly. ICE cars don't even do that. EVs today can get about 400 miles of range on a single charge and with the charge rates available can put about 80% of that back in the battery pack in like 10-15 minutes. Both of those metrics continue improving regularly making them more and more viable for ALL use cases.
Road trips also encompasses about 2% of most people's actual use of the vehicle but people talk about it like it's the 98% of the vehicle's use. People say their "road trips" are pulling horse trailers across the country w/o ever stopping once as if this somehow captures typical use cases for anyone. If this is you, then an EV simply isn't for you. Also, if this is you, you're a psychopath who should seek help. For the other 99.99999% of the population they're not only viable but a noticeable improvement in just about every imaginable way. Ways you can't even understand until you own one. For most users, 98% of the time you charge at home which means that every day you get up to leave for work you drive something that is fully fueled & costs about 1/10th as much as something powered by gas.
That said, this isn't what this thread is about but your statement presented as a blanket fact that some may take the wrong way demanded a little bit of clarity on the topic. I wanted to offer genuine first-hand information to the contrary to at least inform others that they should do their own research before believing something they read (your stance or mine for that matter) and think it's not for them. I was the same way a few years ago but I can't begin to explain how wrong I was and it was all based on what I had held to be true for years based on what people parrot who don't currently and have never owned one. Rare is the EV owner who will say such things for a reason and it's not fanboi-ism.
Come visit and I'll gladly let you drive one of ours around. I won't say that you will change your stance but if you don't, you'll be the first one I've ever let drive one that hasn't. They really are that good.
If you want to discuss further feel free to PM me or start another thread (if you chose this option I only ask that you keep things civil if you genuinely want to have a beneficial back and forth on the topic) dedicated for the conversation as I'm happy to answer any and all questions but don't want to derail this thread further.
p.s. even though I quoted you a lot of what I said here was more in generalities so don't take it as me accusing you of saying anything specifically or putting words in your mouth to fabricate a strawman.
I'm certainly not against EVs, but yeah, I own trailers I have to pull, including a sizeable camper. For road trips, I want to get where I am going and get the drive over with. We went from Bennett to Sherman, TX in 11.5 hrs the other day. I make this trip regularly.
The closest thing to EV that I could manage would be something like the Hybrid F150. Even the baller electric trucks aren't going to pull a 7k lb trailer far.
My last purchase was grilled gator tail at Catahoula's Louisiana Kitchen in Denton, but I was too busy stuffing it in my face hole to get a pic.

In the same situation. Toy hauler is about 9800# loaded. No current ev truck is going to handle that.
Not another EV discussion in an unrelated thread please...

Not really a new purchase since it was just 11 days shy of a full year wait... but my tax stamp came in today for my tbac ultra 7. I went to go pick it up just a couple hours after they called.

Made a cool "Deadpool" themed holster for my buddy who works for Aurora PD. It was an early birthday present. I told him he should as if this was authorized for him to carry. He said, "Even if it was, Not sure my back and hip would appreciate carrying it an entire shift".
