Is this guy planning on the SHTF scenario. or is he going to be a new dark Ages feudal King and make the serfs work on his plantation.

Wow! It will have a whole section for the serving wenches.

Not so sure about a SHTF house. It would take a lot of people to man all the approaches. Maybe a lot of heavily armed serving wenches. (I'm sorry. It just looks like a damned castle.)

Nah... Just put some of those Israeli automated machine gun turrets (http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2007/06/for_years_and_y/) on the parapets, pay some kids to play video games....

Not that I'm opposed to heavily armed serving wenches...[LOL]

That's why you need the serving wenches - to go buy the burrito. That's the problem with having a super SHTF bunker. You can't leave.

Meh. Ain't my money and it ain't in my back yard.....I couldn't give a rat's ass about what the mega-wealthy do with their money. Never ceases to amaze me though.

Not much of a place for setting up for SHTF quite honestly. Look at the pictures of the surrounding area. Really easy to get in and out unseen.

Then take a look at the house itself. How many openings did you see on the first floor alone? Way to easy to gain entry into a house/castle with that many large openings at ground level. You would need a set of eyes at ever window and door. Or bars, but even then it would be better with slits that let in light but too small to let in people.
