OK, this may be a dumb question but I don't care, I'll ask anyway. [buck]

After cleaning the bore with a bronze bore brush and solvent, what should one do to clean the brush? Is anything needed to clean it or should one just wipe it as much as possible with a paper towel and leave it?

Muchas Gracias!

Spray it off with some brake cleaner, or just leave it.

I thought there was more to it than that. OK. I guess that's why I've never seen the subject broached before.

Thanks fellas!

The only stupid question is the one you DON'T ask.

Bore brushes are cheap, so buy several at a time. For me, they're not worth the time to clean. Some solvents will break down the copper within the phosphour bronze bristles making them brittle over time. Just pitch the old one and move on. [wink]
