That's how you sold your product back then. Live demonstrations. The person who invented the bullet proof vest would shoot himself in the chest at arms length with a .45 in front of law enforcement officials to prove it worked.

Haha, I never actually tried it back then, but if there was ever a time that I was wild enough with poor judgement that would have been it.
